NATA 2024: NATA stands for National Aptitude Test in Architecture is an Entrance Examination that takes place on the national level. NATA 2024 Application Form:
- Candidates have to fill NATA 2024 Application form through Online Mode.
- NATA 2024 registration form will begin to appear from the month of March 2024.
- Candidates can register the application form 1st week of March 2024
- Candidates require filling the application form as well as submit it via the official website. There is the option to submit the upload document & photograph.

Application Fee:
The application fee can be paid online mode using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
- One Session:- General candidates have to pay Rs.2000/- and SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs.1500/-
- Both Session:- General candidates have to pay Rs.4000/- and SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs.3000/-
Steps to Apply for NATA 2024:
- Visit the official website of NATA.
- On the Homepage, click on the ‘NATA 2024 Registration’
- Then enter the details such as name, email ID, mobile number, etc.
- A confirmation message regarding login details will be sent to your registered email ID.
- Now enter your login credentials i.e. mail ID and password.
- Then fill the Application Form.
- Fill in the details like education, personal, communication, etc and click on the ‘save and continue
- Upload the passport size colored photograph and signature in JPG/ JPEG format.
- Now Pay the Application Fee.
- Click on the ‘save and continue’ button.
- Take the printout of the confirmation page for future references.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education Qualification:
- Candidates who have completed SSC (Class X) or the equivalent exam while applying for NATA.
- Candidates appearing for the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects of study or 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics.
- The Candidates who want to apply for NATA must have at least 50% marks in the 10+2 or Diploma Exam.
- No lateral admission criteria followed for admission in any of the years for B.Arch.
- The scorecard of NATA is valid for two years only from the year when candidates appear
Exam Pattern:
- Exam Mode: The Exam will be conducted through Online Mode.
- Type of Questions: Multiple-Choice type (MCQ), Multiple Select types (MSQ), Preferential Choice type (PCQ), and Numerical Answer type (NAQ) will be asked in the examination.
- Duration: Candidates have to be answered in 180 minutes
- Number of Questions: 125 questions will be asked in the exam.
- Total Marks: Questions will be 200 marks for both session exams.
- Language: The question paper medium will be in English.
- Marking Scheme & Duration: The questions will carry either 1 mark, 2 marks, or 3 marks.
- Negative Marking: No negative marking.
Syllabus:
As already informed the NATA test comprises drawing as well as the aesthetic sensitivity test, thus candidates are required to have the ability to sketch the object, have a sense of drawing, need to have a proper understanding of scale and proportion.
Candidates need to have made preparations well because the aesthetic sensitivity test consisted of Architectural awareness, Imaginative comprehension & expression, Mental Ability, and lots more. The aptitude of the candidate will be assessed using some or all of the following techniques:
- Diagrammatic Reasoning – Tests the ability of logical reasoning, using diagrams and scenarios
- Numerical Reasoning – Tests mathematical ability through simple problems
- Verbal Reasoning – Assesses the ability to assess verbal logic.
- Inductive Reasoning – Tests the ability to see patterns and analyze given data
- Situational Judgment – Tests problem-solving ability.
- Logical Reasoning – Tests ability to recognize patterns, sequences, or relationships between shapes and imagery.
- Abstract Reasoning – Will assess general knowledge, and ability to utilize knowledge in new situations.
Admit Card:
NATA Admit Card will release for separately for Paper-I & Paper-II. This card comprises information such as test date, candidate’s email address, appointment number, test center, time of test, and lots more. It is necessary to carry this admit card to the examination center and ID proof while entering the examination center.

- On the home page, Check the latest updates.
- Then click on NATA Admit Card.
- Click on the given link and provide the details asked.
- Then click on the login button.
- Download the Admit Card and take the printout of it.

The results of the NATA will be announced most probably by the fourth working day as soon as the test date gets over. One can download the score via NATA’s official site. It is suggested for taking a printout of the score while applying for admission. One can retrieve the original NATA score and verify it from the NATA server
