NEET 2023NEET 2023: The National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Exam, or NEET, is a common entrance examination administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to regularise the admission of eligible candidates into various courses at the UG and PG levels in approximately 600 medical colleges. The supreme court has given the verdict that all admission processes must be carried out based on the merit earned in this entrance examination. The score of the NEET exam plays an important role in earning a medical seat at the UG or PG level. The entrance exam in India allows applicants to be admitted to prestigious courses such as MBBS and BDS.

NEET 2023 Application Form:

The NEET 2023 application form will be released in February on the official website. The candidate, after checking their eligibility, can register themselves on the official website, and before the last date of the exam, they can fill out the form.

Steps to apply for the NEET 2023 Application Form:

  • First, visit the official site of NEET.
  • Then click on the “Apply online” link in the application form and register yourself.
  • After registration, you will get an application ID and password.
  • Then, fill out the NEET online form with your correct information.
  • Now upload your scanned passport-size photograph (10 kb to 100 kb), your signature (3 kb to 20 kb), left-hand thumb impression, and class 10 passing certificate in the given format.
  • After you fill it out, the form carefully checks your information before submitting it.
  • You can now pay your application fee online using a credit card, debit card, net-banking, UPI, or Paytm. No offline mode is available for fee payment.

Application Fee:

The application fee payable for different categories is:

  • Candidate of the General Category will pay Rs.1500/-
  • Candidates of the General-EWS/ OBC-NCL will pay Rs.1400/- and candidates of SC/ST/PWD/Transgender category will pay Rs.800/-
  • Candidates will have to also pay additional charges & GST.

Application Correction:

NEET (UG)  2023 Application Correction has been re-started from July 2023. Candidates can correct the given particulars & scanned images. NEET 2023 correction facility is allowed only one time for the candidates. So, candidates must fill out the application form carefully.

Steps to Make Corrections in NEET 2023 Application Form:

  • Go to the Official Site of NEET i.e, https://www.nta.ac.in/.
  • Then click on “candidates login”
  • A login page will open enter your login details.
  • Then on the left-hand side click on the “online correction”
  • Now, correct your filled details in the application form.
  • Candidates are advised to correct the mistakes carefully as no second-time correction opportunity will be provided further.

NEET UG 2023 Eligibility:

Check below for more details about NEET eligibility 2023:

  • Nationality: Candidate can be Indian, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), and Persons with Indian Origin (PIO) are eligible to apply for NEET (UG).
  • Age limit: For the General category, the minimum age limit should be 17 years and the maximum age limit is 15 years. For SC/ST/OBC/PH should have their birthdate between 07.05.1988 and 01.01.2002 (5 years of age Relaxation).
  • Qualification: Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (12th board examination) with Chemistry, Physics, and Biology/ Biotechnology with a minimum of 50% marks in each subject for General & General-EWS categories, 45% marks for PH & 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC category candidates in PCB group.  Candidates are appearing in their qualifying exam are also eligible for NEET 2023.

  • Exam Mode: offline (pen-paper based) mode.
  • Questions Type: objective type (MCQ)
  • Medium: English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Oriya, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu, and Kannada Languages.
  • Number of questions: 180 questions
  • Total Marks: 720 marks.
  • Duration: 3 hours.
  • Marking Scheme: Every correct answer is of  4 marks.
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark will be subtracted for every wrong answer.

NEET UG Admit Card:

The NEET 2020 admit card can be released on August 2023 through the official website. The candidate should download the admit card and print out of it. In Admit Card there will be information about the exam center, exam date, roll number, candidate name, etc.

Steps to download the NEET 2023 Admit Card:

  • Visit the official website of NTA NEET 2023.
  • Then Click on “NEET Admit Card
  • Now Enter ID & Password.
  • Then click on the “Submit” button.
  • The admit card of NEET will appear on the screen.
  • Download the admit card & take the print out of it.

Documents For National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG 2023:

Candidates have to carry the original documents with the Admit Card. If candidates are unable to carry it for the exam hall, then they are not allowed for the entrance test.

NEET UG Result:

The NEET 2020 UG results will declare on their official site on October 2023. The Result will be declared by online mode only. To Download the Result Candidate must log in on the official website.

Steps to Check the Result:

  • Open the official Website.
  • Then click on the link “Download Result”.
  • A new page will open then enter your roll number & date of birth.
  • Click on the “Submit” button.
  • The result will be displayed on the screen.
  • Take the print copy of the result for further reference.

NEET Reservation:

NEET UG Counselling 2023:

The counseling will be conducted by the Directorate General Health Services, Government of India. The qualified candidate will be invited for the counseling from October 2023. The Counselling will be held in 2 rounds.

Round 1 counseling process:

  • The first round of counseling Registration which includes payment of Non-Refundable Registration fee and Refundable Security Deposit.
  • It also includes the Exercising of Choices and Locking of choices.
  • Process of Seat Allotment Round I.
  • Publication of result of Round I on the MCC website.
  • Reporting at the Allotted Medical / Dental College against Round I.

Round 2 counseling process:

  • If the candidates did not get any seat allotted in the round I are not required to register again, the new Registration for Round II for those candidates who
    • Have not registered in Round I (with full payment of fees).
    • Have Resigned / Not reported in Round I need not register again.
    • Fresh Choice filling Round II
  • Publication of result of Round II on the MCC website.
  • Reporting at the Allotted Medical/Dental College against Round II

  2. Sir I am from paramilitary force, I have 64% with pcb and English. What is the eligibility criteria for Force member to appear in NEET? I am also ST category, I am now 30 years, only one chance I got to appear in AIIMS 2019. Due to remote location I couldn’t fill up the form of NEET on 2019.Can any age relaxation for force member?

  3. no,as u dropped biology u can’t appear in neet, because biology is the mandatory subject to appear in neet, and not only neet but also u can’t appear in AIIMS and JIPMER mbbs entrance exam

  5. I have taken computer science subject and dropped biology since I wanted to do away with engineering. I’ll be doing engineering only but for my satisfaction purpose I want to answer NEET exam by studying biology at home. Am I eligible to just answer Neet exam?
