NEHU Admission 2023 Application Process:
The application process for NEHU Admission 2023 is straightforward. Here are the details:
- First, visit the official website of NEHU Shillong (nehu.ac.in)
- Go to the ‘Students’ tab and click on ‘Fees’
- Register yourself by filling in your name, gender, date of birth, and email ID. Press the ‘Register’ button
- Your login ID and password and the application form will be sent to the registered email ID.
- Log in to your NEHU Shillong account using your email ID and password. Press the ‘Login’ button
- Choose the course in which you want to attain admission
- Upload the scanned copies of your passport-size photograph and signature in JPG/ JPEG (up to 50 kb).
- Fill in the personal details and academic information
- Submit the application fee

NEHU Admission 2023 Eligibility:
- Eligibility Criteria for BA: Candidate have completed class XII from some recognized board to seek admission in BA (General, Nepali, Garo, and Environmental Science)
- Eligibility Criteria for BA (Hons): Candidate have completed class XII from some recognized board to seek specialization in Political Science, History, Geography, and Political Science
- Eligibility Criteria for BSc: Candidate have completed class XII from some recognized board to seek specialization in Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, and Mathematics
- B.Tech Admission: To do B. Tech. in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, and Energy Engineering, the applicant must have cleared JEE Main Exam. Applicant must have also cleared class XII in Science stream from some recognized board with at least 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ ST candidates).
- B.Arch Admission: Candidate must have cleared NATA and also have completed class XII in Science from some recognized board with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates)
- BA LLB (Hons): Applicant must have completed class XII in any stream from a recognized board with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST candidates)
- B.Com, BBA, B.Ed: To seek admission in B.Com, BBA, the minimum qualification is XII in any stream from the recognized board. To so B.Ed, graduation in any discipline is a must
Post Graduation Courses:
- MA: To do MA in English, History, geography, and Political Science, the candidate must have done Graduation in any stream from a recognized institute/university with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST candidates)
- M.Sc: To take admission in M. Sc (Physics, Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry) the minimum qualification is BSc or equivalent in relevant discipline from a recognized institute/ university with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST candidates)
