NERIST NEE 2023: NERIST NEE Examination test conducts by the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology Nirjuli, Itanagar Arunachal Pradesh. It is deemed to be a university established in the year 1984. This is state level entrance test that is held in three phases NEE1, NEE2 AND NEE3. They offer admission in Technology, Engineering, Science, Management, Agriculture and forestry for degree, diploma and certificate courses. The number of seats available for admission is 302 seats. For NEE 1- 100 seats, NEE 2- 280 seats, NEE 3- 72 seats. In this article, you will get to know about the all details of the examination.

NERIST NEE 2023 Application Form:

The application form will be released in the month of February. It is available online on the official website. To fill the application for you will have to complete the registration process.

  • After registration, you will get the registration number and password
  • By using the Registration number and password you will able to open the application form
  • Fill all details like personal information, address and educational details
  • Upload all Educational documents, signature and photographs in the required format
  • Pay application fee through an online link provided by the official page
  • Take the print out of the application form for future reference

Application Fee:

  • Application fee can be pay offline mode by Credit card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI wallet
  • For General Category/OBC candidates application fee is Rs. 1000/-
  • For SC/ST/PD category candidates application fee is Rs. 600/- only
  • The application fee is nonrefundable in any condition
  • It is recommended to pay the application fee before the last date

Eligibility Criteria:

For certification course NEE 1:

  • As per age criteria, candidates must have completed 19 years of age as on 31 July 2023
  • Applicant must have passed matriculation with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subject.
  • Passed from recognized board or institution

For Diploma courses NEE 2:

  • As per age criteria, candidates must have completed 23 years of age as on 31 July 2023 and there is an age relaxation of 3 years for OBC category candidates and 5 years of age relaxation for the SC/ST category of the candidates
  • Applicant must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subject.
  • Passed from recognized board or institution

For Engineering courses NEE 3:

  • As per age criteria candidates required 40 years of age as on 31 July 2023 and there is an age relaxation of 3 years for OBC category candidates and 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST category of the candidates
  • Applicant must have passed 10+2 and relevant diploma with a minimum aggregate score of 60% or CGPA of 6.0 from recognized board or institution.

Examination Syllabus:

The applicant is suggested to prepare according to the courses applied for and previous class subject topics. For vocational and specialized subjects candidates need to prepare according to the topics studied in the previous standard.

PHYSICS: Motion, Gravitation, Units of Measurement, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Coulomb’s law, Simple harmonic motion, Ray and Wave Optics, Magnetism, Capacitor in parallel, Semiconductors, Atomic Physics, Dual Nature of Matter, Relativity Atomic structure, Nuclear Physics, Matter-wave.

CHEMISTRY: Atomic Structure, Classification of matter into solid, liquid and gaseous states, Dalton’s Atomic theory, Matter and its Nature, Chemical bonding, Molecular Structure, Covalent Bonding, Periodic properties Modern periodic law, S& P block elements, Chemical Energetic, Equilibrium, Bimolecular hydrocarbons, Hydrocarbons classification, Solutions and its different methods.

MATHEMATICS: Quadratics equations, Binomial Theorem, Trigonometry, Complex numbers, The fundamental principle of counting, Algebra, Sets, Relations and Functions, Probability, Arithmetic’s, Coordinate Geometry, Harmonic Progressions, Vectors and Scalars, Integral as an anti-derivative,  Differential Calculus

Admit Card:

The admit card for the examination will be released before a month of the examination. By using the applicant number and date of birth as a password you can download. Candidates also have to carry valid identity proof along with the admit card them. It has the following details like Candidates Name, Roll Number, Photograph, Signature, Date and time of exam, Exam centre name.

Result:

After the examination result will be announced on the same official website. You can check your qualifying status by using the roll number and password. Candidates can download and take print out of the result for future references. Qualified candidates can call for the counseling process.

Merit List/ Counseling:

After the examination merit list will be prepared on the basis of the total marks scored by the individual in the entrance examination. After reviewing answer sheets the merit list will be prepared and displayed on the official portal of the examination board. Shortlisted candidates called for the counseling process according to the merit list name via email. Selected candidates call for the online counseling process conducted by the official authority. There are two to three rounds of counseling take place. After the counseling you will have to submit the required documents to the university and it will be verified by the officials and then you will have to pay admission fees to get admission. At the time of admission, you will have to bring all the original documents with you. Following documents, you will have to carry at the time of counseling

  • Bring all the original educational mark sheets and passing certificates which are self-attested.
  • 5 passport size photographs
  • Category certificates
  • Also need Character/Domicile certificate
