NIIFT Mohali 2023: NIIFT stands for Nothern India Institute of Fashion Technology; the exam conducting authority is NIIFT Mohali, Punjab. NIIFT Mohali 2023 Application Form:

The application form will be released for admission in the department of Fashion Designing, Textile Designing in the month of January. 85% seats are reserved for the Punjab state candidates only 15% are open for another state. Those who are interested to take admission can go through the application form filling section.

Application Fee:

All the applicants of General/OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 1750/- or SC/ST/PwD have to pay Rs. 440/-

Fees can be paid through online or offline mode. Online fees by Net Banking/Credit/ Debit card to AIMA or it can be pay by making Demand Draft in the favors of NIIFT Mohali along with application form.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who are interested in such courses firstly have to check eligibility criteria then apply for admission:

• For Graduation Course (B. Sc Fashion Design, B. Sc Textile Design, B. Sc Fashion Design KNITS) candidates must have passed 10+2 from recognize board with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Selection Criteria will be based on the Entrance exam, Situation Test and Interview.
• For Post Graduation Course candidates must have Graduation Degree with minimum 55% marks in same manner subjects from recognized university or Institute.
• PG course selection criteria will be based on the Entrance exam or Interview.
• There is 5% of Age/marks relaxation for those SC/ST students who have done 10+2 with three years of degree course from Rural Areas.
• For SC/ST candidates there is 5% of age relaxation.

The question paper consists of 5 sections, time duration will be 3hours and each section include

Admit Card:

The Admit card of the NIIFT examination will be released in the month of July. Candidates are requested to check and go through the official notification about admit card. That can be downloaded through online by entering the Registration number and password. Candidates can download and take print out of the admit card. Admit card has details like name, Roll Number, Address of examination center and name, time date, etc. At the time of examination, candidates have to carry admit card along with required documents. Without admit card individual will be not allowed in the examination.

Result:

Conducting Authority will release the result in the month of August. After the successful examination, the conductive authority will announce the result on the official web portal. Individuals can download and check it by using their Roll number and date of birth. The merit list will be declared on the basis of marks scored in the entrance examination.

Answer Key:

Candidates can check the answer key from the official website of conducting authority. It is displayed on it also you can raise objections if any doubt you have.

Cutoff:

On the basis of entrance exam score, conducting body prepares a merit list of candidates and displays on the website. Candidates will get admission on the basis of the marks they get in the entrance exam. Those candidates who have their name on the merit list are called for counseling rounds on campus and then they get admission to the college.
