NIOS Online Admission 2023 Admission Form:

You need to first collect the NIOS Online Admission 2023 Application Form for applying to the courses you wanted to seek admission into. NIOS Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Before you fill the National Institute of Open Schooling 2023 Application Form, candidates are required to go through the correct eligibility criteria mentioned in the prospectus. Eligibility criteria for Secondary as well as Higher secondary courses are mentioned below:

Eligibility for Admission to the Secondary Course:

• Candidate must have attained the age of 14 as on 31st July 2023 for the block I
• Candidates must have acquired 14 years as on 31st January 2023 for block II
• Candidate must be possessed with a VIII class certificate from some recognized board as proof of minimum qualification.

Eligibility for Admission to the Higher Secondary Course:

• Candidate must have attained the age of 15 as on 31st July 2023 for the block I
• Candidates must have acquired 15 years as on 31st January 2023 for block II
• Candidate must be possessed with class X certificate from some recognized board

NIOS 2023 Application Form:

• The admission is based on online mode.
• Make sure to apply on the specified date. Submit the application form before the last date
• Go through the NIOS prospectus and instructions before you apply.
• Candidates must be available with documents before they fill the application form and must go through the documents prior you submit them.

The Process to NIOS 2023 Online Apply:

• First of all, visit the student portal of NIOS.
• Press “Register”
• Fill the details and click the submit button.
• After this, the application form will appear which is consisted of four sections such as Personal details, Basic Details, subject selection, study center selection
• Then move onto filling basis details by clicking Basic details. For this, press ‘Basic’ details.
• Enter details such as Mother’s name, Father’s name and so on
• Then press “Generate OTP”
• OTP will be generated for detailed validation.
• In addition to all this information, fill other details as well.
• Then Upload documents by clicking ‘Other Information’. Upload scanned copy of the photograph, ID proof, and other documents.
• Then click the “NEXT” button.
• Once you are over with the step, a username and password will be created for students. Make sure to keep your username and password safe.
• Fill the optional details, Subject selection, choose the study center, review the details, and get done with the payment. There will be a payment mode for the application fee. Ensure to acquire print out of the application form. Candidates can make payment later as well by log in to the student portal using a password as well as a username.

NIOS 2023 Application Fee:

• Make a payment of the application which is Rs.400 per subject.
• Pay the application fee using online mode such as Credit Card /Debit Card and Net Banking or via Electronic Wallet of Common Service Centres (CSCs)
• In case of cancellation of admission, the application fee will be refunded.

Documents Needed During Admission:

• Recent passport size color photograph of the candidate.
• Identity proof like Aadhaar Card or Ration card or Passport etc
• Signature in Black Ink.
• Date of birth Certificate or Aadhaar Card with the date of birth printed in the proper format.
• Class 8th mark sheet or Class 10th mark sheet
• Residence proof (like Aadhaar Card with current address printed on it / Electricity Bill/ Water Bill/Ration Card/ valid Passport / Indian Passport/Statement of Operational Bank Account/ Voter ID/ Appointment Letter from the Employer on Printed Letter Head, if living in rented accommodation – a copy of any proof of permanent address along with present Rented Agreement)
• Caste/certificate
• Ex-serviceman certificate (if the candidate is an Ex-serviceman)
• Disability Certificate
• Fail mark sheet of the previous Board

• Application forms for Block II are available till 31st January.
• Applicants are required to apply via online and offline mode
• Admission forms submitted without documents will not be accepted.
