NIT Durgapur Admission 2023: NIT Durgapur accepts students for UG, PG, dual degree, and Ph.D. programmes. Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech program in different specializations must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The candidate must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in 10+2.
The selection to the B.Tech program at NIT Durgapur is done based on JEE Main score. Candidates clearing the merit list are called for the JoSAA counseling process. Following the counseling round, the final merit list is released by the institute.
After meeting all of the qualifying requirements, the candidate must take the JEE-Main to be considered for selection. The application method is outlined below.

NIT Durgapur offers MCA course to students as one of its PG programs. Candidates seeking admission must fulfill the required eligibility criteria to apply for the course.
Candidates must have a BCA degree with a minimum of 60% marks (aggregate) to apply for admission to the MCA program. Candidates failing to fulfill the required eligibility criteria will not be able to apply for the said program.
Eligible candidates are required to take the entrance exam for MCA Admission. The NIMCET exam is conducted for admission to the course. The institute then releases the merit list based on which candidates are called for the counselling round. Following the counselling round, the seat allotment process takes place.
The institute offers a 5-year Integrated M.Sc (B.Sc+M.Sc) program to aspiring candidates. Students who complete this programme will get a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree. Candidates who want to apply for the programme must take the JEE Main entrance test.
Candidates must have passed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as obligatory courses with at least 60% marks to be eligible for admission to NIT Durgapur’s Integrated M.Sc programme.

Candidates for MBA programmes must have completed a bachelor’s degree in any field. A candidate must have received at least 60% in their undergraduate degree to be able to take the CAT exam.
The candidate’s selection for the MBA programme at NIT is based on his or her CAT score. Following the successful conclusion of the counselling procedure and group discussion round, seats are allotted.
