NMIMS LAT 2024: The NMIMS LAT is a university-level law entrance exam conducted by SVKM’s NMIMS to offer aspiring students admission to the BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) programs. The NMIMS LAT is an objective-type exam that includes 150 questions from different subjects. These subjects include the English Language, Constitution, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Mathematics, & Reasoning.
Candidates seeking admission to their preferred law program from SVKM NMIMS are required to take the NMIMS LAT exam. Candidates must fulfill the required eligibility criteria set by the institute for taking the entrance examination. Along with the entrance examination, the selection process also includes the interview round.
NMIMS LAT 2024 Application Process:
Once candidates confirm their eligibility criteria, they are allowed to fill out the NMIMS LAT application form. The application form is filled in an online mode. Candidates can check the steps below:

NMIMS LAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
The following are the NMIMS LAT eligibility criteria for candidates seeking admission to the law programs from SVKM’s NMIMS:
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board or institute.
- Candidates from any stream are eligible to apply for the exam.
- Candidates who are yet to receive the Class 12 result are also allowed to appear for the NMIMS LAT exam.
Exam Pattern:
The following are the specifics of the NMIMS LAT 2022 exam pattern:
- The exam paper consists of 5 sections: English Language, Legal Reasoning, Current Affairs, Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning
- Each section has 30 questions
- Each question carries 1 mark.
- The duration of the exam is 2 hrs
- There is also a negative marking for incorrect answers
Slot Booking:
Candidates who successfully register can schedule an exam date for the NMIMS LAT 2024 online through the registration portal.
Candidates must select their preferred test center and the date(s) for the NMIMS LAT 2024 exam when reserving their test slot. The capacity of the test center will determine how many NMIMS LAT test centers will be allocated.

Admit Card:
Only once the exam has been scheduled will the NMIMS LAT 2024 admit card be issued. It is a requirement to take the NMIMS LAT 2024 examination. The name and address of the test center, city, and selected exam date are all listed on the admit card.
How to download NMIMS LAT admit card?
- Visit the NMIMS LAT 2022 dashboard.
- Use your registration ID and password to log in.
- Click the Admit Card link.
- On the screen, the NMIMS LAT 2024 admission card will appear.
- Download and print the admit card for future reference.
- Candidates must bring one original ID and a photocopy to the exam location in addition to their admission card.
Result:
NMIMS LAT result is released after the conclusion of the exam. Candidates who have appeared for the entrance examination will be able to check their results using their registered credentials. The steps to download the result are as follows:
- Visit the official website of NMIMS LAT.
- Click on the Result link.
- Enter your roll number and other details.
- The scorecard will appear on the screen.
- Download and save the scorecard for future reference.
Candidates may show up for the NMIMS LAT at least three times a year. Candidates’ best scores will be taken into account for final admission.
Counseling:
Following the release of the result, the institute will commence the NMIMS LAT counseling process. The counseling process includes the document verification process following which the seat allotment list is released. After the seat allotment list is released, candidates are required to report to the allotted college on the scheduled day and time.
