NTSE Andhra Pradesh 2024: Directorate of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh commences the Andhra Pradesh (NTSE) National Talent Search Examination. This examination has two different stages-Stage1 & Stage 2. Those who clear Stage 1 will appear for Stage 2. Finally, the selected 2000 students will be awarded the scholarship of Rs.1250/- every month to the students of classes XI and XII. The scholarship of Rs.2000/- per month to undergraduates and Post Graduates also is the part of Andhra Pradesh NTSE. Besides this, the certain amount of scholarship will also be awarded for PhD in accordance with the UGC norms. NTSE Andhra Pradesh 2024 Application Form:

The application form for class X students will be released from their respective schools or Government offices. Students need to fill the application form with correct information. Make sure that personal as well as educational details are filled appropriately. Once the form is filled, submit it to the DEO’s Office of the district duly signed by the Principal of the school. In case of any error in the application form will lead to cancellation.

Pay the Application fee of Rs.200 through AP CFMS. This will be generated after submitting the application form.

NTSE Andhra Pradesh 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Those who are studying in class X in any recognized school of Andhra Pradesh may appear for NTSE exam. Check the eligibility conditions mentioned below:

  • Candidates Studying in India: Those who are studying in India first need to clear the Stage 1 exam commenced by the state/UT government to clear Stage 2 commenced by NCERT.
  • Candidates Studying Abroad: Applicants of Indian Origin studying abroad of class X may also appear for NTSE examination. Those who are eligible to apply for Stage 2 need to visit the official website.

Marks Distribution:

  • Physics: 13 marks
  • Chemistry: 13 marks
  • Biology: 14 marks
  • Mathematics: 20 marks
  • History: 12 marks
  • Geography: 12 marks
  • Science: 8 marks
  • Economics: 8 marks

There will be no negative marking on paper.

Admit Card:

The admit card or hall ticket of AP National Talent Search Examination Stage 1 will be released in the online mode. Students are required to download the admit card from the official website or using the direct link for the same. To download the admit card, enter your Application Number and Date of Birth. It is an essential document to be carried along to the exam centre and without it no applicant may appear in the exam.

Answer Key:

The Answer Key will be published in the online mode on the official website. Those who have appeared in the exam may check the answers to calculate the marks that can be attained in the exam. The Answer Key will be released in languages such as English, Telugu, and Urdu languages in the PDF form.

Exam Result:

The examination result will be announced by the Directorate of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh. To check the exam result, enter the Select School Code/Roll Number.

Selection Process:

Only the selected applicants by State and Union Territories will be considered eligible for the National level exam commenced by the NCERT. The selection of the students is also based on the cut of marks.

Cut-Off Marks:

Students from General/OBC & EWS categories need to clear both the papers with minimum 40% marks and SC/ST/PH students with 32% marks.
