NTSE Bihar 2023 Application Form:

• Begin the process by visiting the official website: scert.bihar.gov.
• Now, click on the link ‘Candidate Registration and Login’.
• After this, click on ‘New User click here to Register to create a Login ID and Password
• In the next step, enter the details and click on ‘Send OTP’.
• Confirm the mobile number and Email ID by entering the OTP and submit
• The Login details will appear on the screen or be sent to the registered mobile number and Email ID.
• After this, log in to the portal using the same mobile number and Email ID.
• Pay the application fee amount and take a print for further reference. Also, take the payment receipt.

NTSE Bihar 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be studying in class X in the schools affiliated to Bihar Government/CBSE/ ICSE/Bihar State Madrasa Education Board and Bihar Sanskrit Education Board
• Those who are registered under Open Schooling may also appear for NTSE Bihar 2023, if not employed in the government sector and appearing for the first time and are of the age below 18 years.
• Domicile is not a restriction to apply however students must be located in Bihar.
• Taking a scholarship from any other source may cancel the NTSE scholarship for that period/year.

Exam Pattern:

Stage 1:

• Mental Ability Test (MAT) – 100 questions to be completed in 120 minutes
• Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) – 100 questions to be completed in 120 minutes

Syllabus:

Mental Ability Test (MAT)

• Verbal Reasoning Test: Topics covered in the test include Alphabet Test, Analogy, Analytical Reasoning, Arithmetic Reasoning Test, Clocks, Puzzle test, Series completion Test, etc.
• Non-verbal Reasoning: Analogy, Analytical Reasoning, Transparent paper folding, Water images, etc.

Scholastic Ability Test (SAT)

• Mathematics: It includes topics such as Algebra, basic geometry, statistics, Arithmetic progression, surface area, etc.
• Science: This section includes topics such as Carbon and its compounds, physical and chemical changes, sources of energy, etc.
• Social Sciences: In this section, topics that are covered include Introduction to ancient Indian History, Buddhism, medieval architecture and culture, The Mauryas, the Mughal Empire, the Vedic period, etc. Diversity and livelihood, Economic presence of the government, UN and other International Agencies, Union government, etc. The atmosphere, industries, internal structure of earth and rocks, solar system, natural vegetation, etc.

Admit Card:

NTSE Bihar 2023 admit card or hall ticket will release through the official website. It is easy to download the admit card by visiting the website. Make sure to enter the application ID, candidate’s name and date of birth for downloading the admit card. It is crucial to take a print of the same to carry it to the exam center.
