Oberoi STEP 2022Oberoi STEP 2022: Oberoi STEP stands for Oberoi Systematic Training and Education Programme. This is an examination managed by the Oberoi Group of Hotels. The STEP is in hospitality Education courses and at the same time, offers to coach at OCLD (Oberoi Center for Learning & Development). The Oberoi STEP is a way via which they can apply for the examination and this also helps candidates to know all about the hotel management course.

There is no need to make payment of the application fee. Candidates only need to spend three years constructively to acquire the coaching at the hotels of the Oberoi group. Candidates will be able to get complete training for all four departments of the hotel including front office, housekeeping, food & beverages, and kitchen.

Oberoi STEP 2022 Application Form & Fee:

  • Collect application form via the official website of OLCD (Oberoi Centre for Learning and Development)
  • Use the website to apply for an interview.
  • Fill all the details in the application form using online mode. Ensure that all details mentioned on the website are correct and clear.
  • Fill all the academic details and select the center of your choice for an interview along with the date.
  • There will be no application fee for an application form.
  • Candidate needs to move for an interview only and no entrance test will be commenced at all.

Documents Need to Carry for the Interview:

  • A written copy of Online filled form.
  • A colored passport size photograph
  • Originals and genuine copies of the SSC mark sheet and SSC Certificate.
  • DOB proof (Birth certificate)
  • Originals copies of the HSC mark sheet and HSC Certificate.
  • Medical certificate proving that candidate is medically fit by the doctors

Interview Rounds:

First Round:

  • In the first round, candidates will be divided into teams of every | and every and each group will have fifteen to twenty individuals each.
  • Groups will do all the tasks allotted to them.
  • Candidates will be judged on the basis of spoken English, self-assurance, and their preparation

Second Round:

  • Those who successfully clear first round, will move for the second round
  • The second round will be panel round just like in one round.

Note: Candidates will be judged on the basis of multiple things like the way they present themselves, their attire, their approach, and skills.

Third Round:

  • Those who successfully clear their first and second round will move for third round.
  • The group has to do all the activities allotted to them to overcome the panel round.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate’s age should be between 18 to 20 years.
  • Candidate must have successfully clear HSC from a familiar university or from IGNOU

Eligibility criteria on the basis of Chosen courses:

Hotel operation course (Front office, food & beverage)

  • Candidate must have acquired at least 61 scores in the qualifying exams.
  • Candidate must have attained B2 grade or seven in their qualifying examination
  • Candidate must have studied English as the main subject.
  • The candidates must have studied from the CBSE board

Kitchen Operations Operations Course:

  • Candidate must have acquired at least 61 scores in the qualifying exams.
  • The candidates must have studied English as the main subject whereas finishing their education.

Kind of Exams:

The room operation Course:

  • The candidate will attain the coaching for the western and Indian kitchens
  • The candidates will also get coaching in special sections such as bakehouse, pastry, and cold room.

The hotel Operation Course (two streams):

  • The candidates will attain coaching for the Front Office/ food and nutrient service focus
  • The candidates also will fetch coaching in work focus.

Results:

  • The interviews will be organized by the OCLD (Oberoi Centre for Learning and Development).
  • The university will release the list of the chosen candidates and candidates will be informed about this.
  • The candidates will receive data from the university by post or through email.
