Odisha ANM 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
- To apply for ANM, the candidate’s age should be at least 17 years at least.
- Candidate must have successfully completed Class XII or equivalent from CHSE Odisha/ Equivalent/ NIOS.
- Applicant must have studied M.E. standard Odia from an institute recognized by ONMRC.
- The course is valid for female applicants only.
- General category candidates must have acquired at least 40% marks and 35% for SC/ ST category applicants.
Odisha GNM 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate’s age should be 17 years to apply for the course.
- Candidate must have completed Class XII or equivalent exam from CHSE Odisha/ Equivalent/ NIOS. The exam must have passed from CHSE Odisha/ Equivalent/NIOS in Science stream.
- Those who are from vocational streams and successfully completed the ANM course are eligible to apply.
- General category applicants must have attained at least 40% marks and 35% for SC/ST category applicants.
B.Sc. Nursing:
- The candidate’s age should be 17 Years.
- Those who have successfully completed class XII or equivalent with PCB and English as main subjects may apply.
- If the exam is completed from CBSE/NIOS/Equivalent National or State Board can apply.
- It is mandatory to have passed PCB and English separately.
- Applicants must also have studied M.E. standard Odia from an institute recognized by ONMRC.
- A female or male applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha.
- Acquired at least 40% (General) and 35% (SC/ ST) category.
Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing:
- The candidate’s age must be 17 years old.
- Those who have successfully completed GNM from ONMEB Odisha or equivalent may also apply.
- Applicant must be a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife from ONMRC or any other state nursing council.
- A permanent resident of Odisha and medically fit is preferable.
- Candidates must have studied M.E. standard Odia from an institute recognised by ONMRC.
- This course is applicable for both male and female candidates both.
M.Sc. Nursing:
- A permanent resident of Odisha is applicable to apply.
- Candidate must have successfully completed B.Sc. Nursing or PBB.Sc. Nursing from an INC/ ONMRC recognised institute.
- An applicant must be a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife from ONMRC or any other state nursing council
- Experience of a year after graduation in clinical filed or teaching will be given preference.
- Acquired at least 55% marks.

Exam Result and Merit List:
To check the examination result and merit list, check the official website. The merit list for B.Sc. Nursing is prepared on the basis of candidates’ marks acquired in Class XII. For PB B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing, ANM and GNM, the merit list will be prepared based on the candidates’ performance in the entrance exam. The category-wise merit list will be published.
Tie-Breaking Criteria:
IN the situation where two candidates’ have the same performance then selection will be done through tie-breaking rules. In such scenarios, preference will be given in the following way:
- B.Sc. Nursing: Candidates with higher marks in Class XII Biology and English exam will get preference. Along with this, an applicant of older age has chances to get a seat.
- PBB.Sc. Nursing: Those who have attained higher marks in the GNM examination and older in age will be given preference.
- M.Sc. Nursing: The candidate who has gained a higher percentage in B.Sc. Nursing or PBB.Sc. Nursing Exams along with older in age will be given preference.
Counselling/Selection Process:
Those who have acquired well in class XII or entrance exam will be selected. On the basis of the merit list, applicants will be called for counselling process. Applicants must be available for document verification on the given day/date/time. The finally selected applicants will submit the admission fee
