- Classical Teacher (Sanskrit) – Candidate must have completed the degree of graduation with Sanskrit as one of the electives/optional/Honours/pass subjects from some recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PWD/SEBC candidates) and Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) a course suggested by NCTE, from some recognized University/Institution

- Shastri (Sanskrit) with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 45% for SC/ST/PWD/SEBC category candidates from some recognized universities and Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit), a course suggested by NCTE from some recognized University institution.

TGT Arts:
- Applicant must have completed graduation in Arts/Commerce or a Shastri (Sanskrit) Degree from some recognized university with two school subjects from some recognized university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 45% for SC/ST/PWD/SEBC candidates and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/3 years integrated B.Ed.- M.Ed. from NCTE recognized Institution.
OR
- Candidate must have attained Four-year Integrated B.A, B.Ed. from NCTE recognized Institution with two school subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 45% for SC/ST/PWD/SEBC category candidates.
In addition to this, applicants must have completed Bachelor’s Degree with any two school subjects offered as Pass/ Hons./ Elective/ Optional/ mandatory subjects such as English, Odia, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Indian Economy, Landmarks in Indian History, India Geography, and Indian polity.
TGT Science (PCM) OR TGT Science (CBZ)
- Candidate must have completed graduation in Science/B. Tech./B.E. with two school subjects (school subjects as mentioned in the proviso here under) from some recognized university attained at least 50% marks in aggregate and 45% for SC/ST/PWD/SEBC category applicants and B.Ed/3 years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from the NCTE recognized Institution.

- Four year Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. from the NCTE recognized Institution with two school subjects attained 50% marks in aggregate and 45% aggregate marks for SC/ST/PWD/SEBC category candidates
