OPSC AEE Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
If you fulfill the eligibility criteria then only you can apply for OPSC AEE Recruitment 2023. Here are the details about the eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Applicant must be possessed with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil) from any of the recognized universities in India.
- Besides this, the candidate must be fluent in reading, speaking, and writing in the Odia language.
Age Limit:
Applicant’s minimum age should be 21 years as of 1st January 2023 and a maximum of 32 years. Age Relaxation is provided to the following categories:
- SC, ST, SEBC, Women, and Ex-servicemen: 5 years on Maximum age limit
- PWD category and people with more than 40% disability: 5 years on Maximum age limit
Selection Process:
Here are the stages of the selection process:
- Written Test: In the written test, Objective Type Questions will appear. This will consist of two examinations – Prelims and Mains.
- Viva-voce: The next stage is viva-voce for those selected in the written test. This will take place as the interview in which technical and practical questions will be asked from the candidate. The total mark for this stage is 75.
OPSC AEE Recruitment 2023 Exam Pattern:
Entrants are advised to check the examination pattern for both prelims and mains exams. The details about the same are as follows:
Prelim Exam:
- The Prelims will consist of 100 questions for 100 marks
- The exam time duration will be 90 minutes
- A negative marking of 0.25 marks will be there
Mains Exam:
This exam will be Objective Type and there will be a deduction of 0.5 marks for incorrect answers.
- General Studies will consist of 150 Questions for 300 marks. The candidate will get 2.5 hours to complete the paper
- Civil Engineering paper will also be for 150 Questions for 300 marks. The candidate will get 2.5 hours to complete the paper
