Osmania University Admission 2022: Osmania University situated in Hyderabad, provides numerous educational courses for candidates applying for undergraduate, master, M Phil, and the Ph.D. degree in varied streams viz. The University was known after his creator Osman Ali Khan who was the Nawab of Hyderabad. Osmania University came into existence in 1918. Osmania University Admission 2022 Application Form:

The enrolment procedure at Osmania University is taken care of by the Directorate of Admissions, which supports and simplifies the admission formalities of the students.

To avail of the application form, willing candidates need to go through the OU official website. Candidates need to furnish their usable email ID and other particulars. After effective registration, candidates will get a registration ID which will work as the login ID of the applicant. The operational application form is to be appropriately completed and submitted by an individual or by post to the University office. Laterally with the application form applicants also need to complete an ICR sheet obtainable on the official website. Acknowledgment Card, Copy of mark sheets of previous qualifying exams, Demand Draft, and ICR sheet are some of the particulars that the candidate needs to submit.

Application Fee:

OBC candidates need to pay Rs.500 as an application fee for any particular option whereas for the reserved category the application fee for a certain subject will be Rs.375. For further entries, a candidate needs to provide Rs.300 for each subject. Candidates must keep a printed copy of the application form before submission.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The lowest eligibility marks in order to seek admission under Osmania universities for graduate courses is 40% marks in senior secondary or corresponding exam from a renowned university or board.
• The lowest eligibility norm in order to seek admittance to Osmania University’s PG degrees is by acquiring 40% marks in Graduation from a renowned university
• For 5-year collective programmes, the least cutoff marks are 50%
• At Osmania University, admittance in Under Graduate courses viz. Humanities, Commerce, Social Sciences, Biological Sciences, and Physical Sciences, the enrolment depends on merit in the preceding qualifying examination.
• Enrolment to Under Graduate Technology and Engineering courses is decided on the foundation of score obtained in EAMCET.
• For post-graduation degrees and pursuing Ph.D. courses, the admission takes place depending on an entrance examination organized by the university (OUCET).
• Individual admission norm for Post Graduate courses in technology and engineering depends on the GATE marks.
• Selection in MBA and MCA courses is provided through the entrance examination.
• After the applicants are selected for admittance, they will be asked by the individual departments or associated colleges for counseling sessions and final enrolment procedures. The counseling procedure initiates in the last week of June or by July the first week of 2022 every year.

Exam Pattern:

The entrance will be held via online mode. The 100 marks question paper will have 100 questions that an applicant needs to answer within 1hr 30 mins. The medium of communication will be English. All questions will be objective type. There will be a separate pattern for students appearing for subjects like Biotechnology, environmental science, biochemistry in PG degree. Syllabus:

The curriculum will be distinct for every single course. The syllabus will be displayed on the authorized website which will enable the candidate to prepare for the examination.

Admit Card:

The admit cards for admission tests will be available from the authorized website by providing the date of birth and registration number. In case of any difficulty to avail the admit card online, the applicants can acquire replacement of the same until the time before the entrance by presenting a proof of application form submission and one passport size picture (equal to the one fastened on the application form) with a payment of Rs 30.

Applicants can avail of the identical admit card from the official website and they need to get it signed by the Chief Superintendent of the particular test center minimum of one hour prior to the initiation of the examination.

Result:

 Candidates can avail of their results via online methods. In the month of July, all applicants can check their results with the help of their login credentials on the official website. All candidates must collect a printed version of the same for future use. No offline mode will be there to avail of the results.

Counseling:

By July 2022 counseling session will commence. Only after qualifying the entrance candidates will they get a chance to seat for the counseling. All eligible candidates need to submit a counseling fee before appearing in this session. Both by online or offline mode applicants can submit the fees for counseling.

Cut Off:

Cut Off is actually the lowest mark required to qualify for an examination. Reserved category candidates will have no cut off the scheme. An applicant belonging to Bc or OC category needs to get at least 25% in the entrance examination in order to qualify for the counseling session. Several factors control the cut-off.
