Patna University B.Ed Application Form 2023: Brief Info about Patna University: Patna University is the first university located in Bihar. The university was introduced on 1 October 1917 during the British rule, and as per the records, it is the eleventh oldest university of India. The university aims at building a scholarly community via learned and experienced teaching staff. This university proffers admissions in several undergraduate and postgraduate courses including the B.ED course. This course is a 2 year programme which candidate needs to clear via a written entrance examination.

Patna University releases the application form for B.Ed course. This is another reputed and known course that many young minds wanted to take up. Steps to Fill Patna B.Ed Admission 2023 Form:

• First visit the official website of Patna University or click on the direct link on this page.
• Click on the link given on the homepage on the University’s website.
• Download the prospectus and instructions and check all the details prior to you start.
• Click the “Apply” button to proceed further.
• Fill up the application form after successful login like Correspondence Address, Details of Parents and academic qualification details, etc.
• Upload the documents like scanned image file of your Photograph and Signature in the specified format.
• Make a payment of the registration fee via sources such as Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking/Bank etc.
• Take a print out of the E-Receipt for further reference.
• Go through the details once again to check the information and click on the ‘Confirm’ button to submit the form.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidate must be possessed with the Bachelor’s certificate, the Master’s in Humanity/ Science / Social Science / Commerce, degree of graduation in Engineering or Technology comprises of main subjects such as Science and Mathematics. In addition to this, the candidate must have achieved a minimum percentage of 50% in under graduation and 55% in Post-graduation. The educational qualification you have must be considered relevant by the Academic Council of University.
• Candidate must have subjects in the examination such as English, Physics, Mathematics, History, Hindi, Biology, Botany or Zoology, Chemistry, Geography, Political Science, Economics, and Commerce, etc.

Admit Card:

The admit card for the entrance examination will be provided by Patna University via an online way out through the official website in the month of July 2023. Download the website and use the login ID number and Date of Birth. Fetch the admit card and carry it along at the exam center along with the Identity proof during the exam.

Exam Pattern:

PART A will consist of the following sections, subjects, questions & marks:

• Section–I, General English Comprehension will have 10 questions for 10 marks.
• Section– II, Logical & Analytical Reasoning will have 20 questions for 20 marks.
• Section– III, Educational & General Awareness will have 25 questions for 25 marks.
• Section– IV, The environment of Teaching Learning in School will have 25 questions for 25 marks.

PART B will consist of the following sections, subjects, questions & marks:

Section– V, Subject Awareness (One to be chosen from the following subject/faculties)

1. Science & Mathematics
2. Social Science
3. Humanities
4. Commerce

Note: All the four subjects will have 20 questions for 20 marks.

Seat Availability:

• For the course (Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Regular, the college will be Patna Training College (100 seats) and Patna Women’s Training College (100 seats)
• B.Ed. under the self-financing scheme (100 seats)
