PES University Admission 2023: PES University, a Bengaluru-based private university organizes an entrance test every year. This nationalized university offers courses in B.Tech, M.Tech, and several other courses in the science and humanities stream. To enroll in their various undergraduate and postgraduate courses candidates need to qualify their entrance known as PESSAT. PES University Admission 2023 Application Form:

Interested Candidates can complete their application form either by online or offline methods.  From October the Application form of PESSAT 2023 is available. The detail about education, address, etc. is a mandatory part of the application form and hence the form must be completed properly. Candidates need to upload the application form with their passport size photograph and personal signature. If a candidate wants to apply for more than one course he/she needs to provide separate email ids for all the applied courses. B.Tech applicants staying outside Bengaluru can fill the application form till April 2023 whereas for Bengaluru candidates the due date to apply for this course is April 2023. By July applicants of other streams can submit their forms.

The cost of the PES Application form is Rs. 1050 for all candidates opting for different streams. This fee could be paid both by online or offline methods. The application fee can be processed through debit card/credit card/net banking. Candidates opting for payment other than online mode can make a Demand Draft in favour of ‘PES University General Fund’ payable at Bengaluru.

An attached DD with the application form must reach the given address before the stipulated due date.

PES University organizes PESSAT to enroll students from different educational backgrounds to opt for a profession of their choice. In order to have a career with the students need to qualify for this entrance test or they can apply through their scores in any national level entrance exam. PESSAT takes place every year to offer aspirants of varied streams to take admission to various courses of the university. Entrance qualified candidates are eligible to join in the counselling process. Only the students scoring qualifying rank will be selected by the University.

PES University 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

For Under Graduate Courses: 

Candidates applying for B.Tech must have qualified with 60% marks in 12th standard with chemistry physics and maths as subjects. For BBA/BBA-HEM: Candidate must have qualified his or her senior secondary examination in any stream from a renowned board. Senior Secondary certificate or any 3years diploma from a recognized university with a score of 50% is desirable for pursuing the B.Des course. B.Des applicants must have English as a compulsory subject in their previous academic qualifications. B.Arch applicants must have qualified 12th grade with 50% marks and mathematics as an obligatory subject. Applicants must be a NATA/ JEE qualified candidate. Final year candidates of 10+2 are also eligible to seat for the entrance.

For PG Courses:

 To nurture a career in PES university the MCA applicants need to have a minimum 50% score in their undergraduate courses with any of the following subjects.

• Mathematics
• Statistics
• Computer Science
• Computer programming
• Business Mathematics
• Business Statistics

For MBA candidates must own a full-time Bachelor’s degree scoring 60% marks from any renowned University. Students having scorecards of PESSAT/MAT//CMAT/ GRE/CAT/GMAT can easily enroll for this course.

M.Tech applicants must have scored 50% marks in Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputed university.

PES University Admission 2023 Syllabus:

From May 2023 PES University has scheduled its Entrance Exam (PESSAT)dates for the B.Tech applicants. The syllabus, question pattern, the time limit will not be the same for students appearing for different courses. The syllabus for B.Tech will include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of class XI and XII. For the B.Arch Course, Nata syllabus will be followed. The entrance exam for other courses will commence from 10th January – July 2023. Duration: The duration of the exam will be 3 hours and by this time candidates have to answer 180 questions. For Mathematics and Physics, there will be sixty questions from each subject. Forty more questions will be there from Chemistry and twenty from English.

Exam Pattern:

There are a total of 2 sections that you will get in this examination. In the first section questions on Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics will be asked. These questions will be related to the CBSE questions of class XII. Section 2 will contain a total of 20 questions from English Grammar. The total duration for the test will be around 180 minutes. There will be a total of 60 questions each in Mathematics, Chemistry & Physics. There will be 20 questions in English. Admit Card:

 Before the entrance test is conducted the admit card will be issued after slot booking. The slot booking will take place from April 2023 and for other courses it will be from January 2023. By entering login id students can download the admit cards only after slot booking.

Result:

The merit of successful students will decide the result for PESSAT 2023. Candidates securing scorecards of different national competitive exams will also find a place in the PESSAT merit list. The merit list of the University will be available online for all the candidates who gave the PESSAT test and also for those who have applied through their score in any nationalized exam. With the aid of roll number, the application number, date of birth, etc. candidates can find their rank in the merit list and can also check their rank by registering their login number.

PES University B.Tech Counselling for 2023 will commence from June. Candidates qualifying in other courses will have their counselling from January. This online counselling will take place in various steps. Based on the rank in the merit list candidates have to seat for counselling.  The university website will then display the names of the shortlisted candidates. From there, candidates can find their names and seat for the counselling.

Cut Off:

The cut off is as per rankings and as per percentage. The percentage varies for each of the courses between 70 -75%. The cut-offs are available on the official website of PES University.

Answer Key:

The official website of this university will have the answer key. This will have all the correct answers to the questions that were there in the examination. The students will be able to check these answers and find out their score in the examination.
