PIM MAT 2023: Management Aptitude Test provides admission on the management seats in MBA and EMBA course. This examination is conducted by the R.A. Poddar Institute of Management (RA PIM) Jaipur Rajasthan. This exam is conducted every year. This exam is held at the university level. The official notification for the examination 2023 is yet to be announced. For the official announcement candidates can check out the website www.rapim.ac.in. The examination will take place in the month of May. The process of the examination is taking place according to the following steps like firstly Entrance test then Group Discussion and last Personal Interview. In this article, you will get to know the all details related to the examination like dates, application form, examination pattern, syllabus, admit card, etc.

PIM MAT 2023 Application Form:

Official Notification for the application form will be released online on the official website. Availability of the application form online in the month of March. It can be filling till April month. There are the following steps that have to be following during form filling.

• Read all the instructions carefully before applying to go through the information brochure.
• Firstly do registration by entering your Name, contact number, and valid email id.
• Then you will get system generated applicant number and password.
• By using this you can start the process of form filling.
• Fill all required personal information like full name, Parent’s details, Contact number, address, etc.
• Now upload all required documents carefully in the given format.
• Upload scanned photograph and signature in the given format.
• Pay application fee online by using an online payment method.
• Review your application details, finally submit it.

Application fee:

Application fees can be paid online by using E-Mitra kiosks or the E-Mitra portal at the CSC Centre. There is no relaxation for any category of the students. Every category of the candidates will have to pay 1510/-  as an application fee. In any case, the application fee is not refundable.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have to check all eligibility criteria before form filling. Eligibility criteria are as follows:

• Candidates have undergraduate in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
• Candidates who belong to the SC/ST/OBC Category have secured a minimum 45% marks from a recognized university.
• Those candidates who are in the final year of their undergraduate are also eligible to apply for the examination.

Examination Pattern:

• Mode of Examination- offline mode (pen and paper-based)
• Mode of language- English
• Total Questions- 200
• Type of question: Multiple Choices
• Total sections:  Total of five sections are there.
• Question Distribution- Verbal Ability (40), Current affairs (40), Data Interpretation (40), Business Mathematics(40), Logical Reasoning(40)
• Time Duration- 2 hours
• Total Marks- 200
• Marking- 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and -1 for every incorrect answer.

Exam Syllabus:

Following topics are covered under the syllabus:

• Current Affairs: General awareness, general Knowledge, who’s who, Business Knowledge, Business Terminology, honors & Awards, Economics, national and international news affairs, Current business activities at the National and International level, etc.
• Business Mathematics: Statistics, Elementary Algebra, Complex numbers, The fundamental principle of counting, Sets, Elementary Arithmetic, Relations and Functions, Probability, Geometric, Harmonic Progressions, Matrix Algebra, Integral as an anti-derivative,  Differential Calculus Polynomials, Decimals, Percentage, etc.
• Verbal Ability:  Syllogisms, verbal and nonverbal Reasoning, fill in the blanks, Analogies, idioms, Antonyms, Synonyms, Sentence completion, one-word substitution, Jumbled paragraph, Foreign language words used in English, contextual usage, Different usage of the same words, Word correction, etc.
• Logical Reasoning: Puzzles, Action, Family Tree, Strong Arrangements, Visual Reasoning, Course of Action, Weak Arrangements, Series, Multidimensional Arrangements, etc.
• Data Interpretation: Pie chart, Blood Relation, Numeric Grid, Calendars, Column Graphs, Graphs, Graphs Represent Area, Syllogisms, Representation of data, Statement conclusions, Critical Reasoning, Coding and Decoding, Relations, etc.

PIM MAT Admit Card:

Admit card for the examination will be available from May onwards. Candidates can download from the website easily by using the application number and password. It has the following details:

• Name of the candidates, Father’s Name
• Roll number
• Date and Time
• Examination centre address
• Instruction for the examination.

It is mandatory to bring admit card along with the original Id Proof like Aadhar Card/ Passport/ Driving license/ Voter ID. Any kind of electronic device is not allowed in the examination hall. And without admit card, you cannot allow giving the examination.

Exam Centre:

Following cities are arranging the examination centre:

• Delhi
• Chandigarh
• Jaipur
• Kota
• Jodhpur
• Udaipur

Answer Key:

• The answer key of the question paper is displayed by officials in June Month.
• Candidates can check and download the answer key by using login credentials.
• If there is any objection then it can be resolve by the authority and Submission of representation regarding the answer key will take place.
• Then a final answer key will be displayed again on the same portal within a week.

Result:

• Institute will declare results officially on online mode.
• It will declare most probably in the month of July.
• After the result declaration, a Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be organized by the Institute.
• According to the total mark score in Group Discussion and Personal Interview, the final score will be declared and on the basis of that merit list will be prepared.
• Once the merit list will be prepared the final result for admission to the institute will be displayed.

Cutoff Marks:

Cutoff marks will be decided on the basis of the total highest mark got in the examination. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of the total cutoff of marks. Last year PIM MAT cutoff is categories wise as follows:

General Category (35%), OBC Category (30%), SC/ST Category (25%)

Counseling:

After the final result declaration, candidates call for the counseling procedure. On the basis of the final merit list, candidates can get the chance to attend the counseling. Documents that are requiring at the time of Counseling are as follows:

• Original 10+2 mark sheet and passing certificate
• The undergraduate mark sheet and passing certificate
• Domicile Certificate
• Transfer or leaving certificate
• Caste category Certificate
• Age or Date of Birth proof
• At least 5 recent passport-size photographs.

After the documentation process, candidates will call for the admission process. Next is to pay admission fees and lock your seat for the confirmed admission.
