PJTSAU UG Courses:
- The admission to the majority of UG courses is based on the TS EAMCET score
- Only female candidates are eligible to apply for For BSc (Hons) and Community Science
- The upper age limit for UG programmes is 22 years (General category) and 25 years (SC/ST category) candidates
PJTSAU PG Courses:

Eligibility Criteria:

B.Tech:
- To apply for Agricultural Engineering and Food Technology, the candidate must have completed class XII with subjects such as Physical Sciences or Biological Sciences as main subjects
BSc (Hons):
- To apply for Agriculture, the candidate must have done class XII with Physical Sciences or Biological Sciences as main subjects
- If you are interested to apply for Community Science, you must have done class 12 with BPC/ MPC/ MBPC subjects or a three-year Diploma in Home Science
Note: 40% of the seats in BTech and BSc programmes are allotted and reserved for applicants from farmers’ families, owning a minimum of one-acre land. Such applicants must have studied at least four years in schools situated in non-municipal areas.
M Tech: PJTSAU provides admission to the MTech programme via ICAR AIEEA scores. The candidates will be selected based on scores scored in the previous academic records and 70% is based on the performance in the qualifying exam. All three MTech specializations and their minimum eligibility criteria are given below:
- To apply for Soil and Water Engineering and Farm Machinery and Power, you must have done BTech in Agriculture Engineering
- To apply for Processing and Food Engineering, you must have done BTech in Agriculture Engineering or Food Engineering

- To apply for Human Development & Family Studies, Family Resource Management, and Home Science Extension & Communication Management, an applicant must have done BSc or BSc (Hons) in Home Science/ B.H.Sc
MBA: To apply for MBA programme, candidates’ academic merit is given a weightage of 30% and performance in ICAR AIEEA will decide the admission status. Check the details below:
- To apply for Agri-Business Management, the candidate must have acquired at least 50% aggregate in BSc in Agriculture/Horticulture/Commercial Agriculture and Business Management/Food Science & Technology/Food Science & Nutrition

Ph.D.: Admission to PhD programmes offered based on candidate’s performance in ICAR AICE JRF/SRF (PGS). PJTSAU proffers 15 disciplines of research under the PhD programme. Candidates must have successfully cleared master’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised Agricultural university, with at least 50% aggregate. Candidate’s performance in the qualifying exam holds a weightage of 60% in the selection process and 40% on their academic merit. PhD Specialisations are as follows:

PJTSAU Admission 2022 Application Process:
The application form will be available through the official website pjtsau.edu.in. Download the application form and fill in the details carefully and correctly. Take the print of the application form and upload the necessary documents. Pay the application fee as well. and application fee. Here are the steps to fill the application form of PJTSAU:
- Go to the official website and download the application form
- Fill in the personal details such as candidate’s name, parents’ name, age, gender, nationality, etc.
- Add your corresponding address
- Choose the programme applying for
- Fill the previous academic qualifications
- Add the score obtained in the qualifying examination
- Paste a passport-size photograph and sign it across

Application Fee:
Applicants are required to send the Demand Draft of the application fee along with the application form. The DD should be in favour of “Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, payable at Hyderabad”. General/OBC category candidates will submit Rs 1,600 and SC/ST category candidates will pay Rs 850
