Eligibility Criteria:

It is of utmost importance to apply for the examination after checking the eligibility criteria. Check the details mentioned below:

• Those who have successfully completed 17 years on or prior to December 31 of the corresponding year may apply for the examination.
• If a candidate has also studied Mathematics along with Physics Chemistry, Biology and English then the marks acquired in Mathematics will not be considered for admission to B Sc. Nursing Course.
• Candidate should have successfully passed in the subjects of Physics Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have attained at least 45% marks (SC/ST 40%) taken together in PCB in class XII.

PPMET 2022 Application Form:

After checking the eligibility criteria, apply for the examination. Candidates are suggested to go through the prospectus before applying. Fill the online application form through the official website www.bfuhs.ac.in and submit before the last date. It is requested to fill in the relevant mobile numbers, email addresses, etc for further correspondence. Pay the application fee as well because it is the mandatory part of the application process.

Syllabus:

Candidates must have comprehensive details about the syllabus for preparing accordingly. Here is the subject wise syllabus:

• Physics: Physical World and Measurement, Kinematics, Work, Energy and Power, Laws of Motion, Gravitation, The motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body, Properties of Bulk Matter, Thermodynamics, Oscillations and Waves, Electrostatics, Optics, Electromagnetic Induction, and Alternating Currents and Communication Systems.
• Chemistry: Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Structure of Atom, Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Solid State, States of Matter: Gases and Liquids, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Thermodynamics, Chemical Kinetics, Equilibrium, Surface Chemistry, Redox Reactions, Coordination Compounds, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers and Hydrocarbons
• Biology: Diversity in Living World, Structural Organization in Animals and Plants, Cell Structure and Function, Plant Physiology, Human Physiology, Reproduction, Biology and Human Welfare, Biotechnology and its applications, Ecology, and Environment

Exam Pattern:

There will be on paper comprised of questions in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology).  The test duration will be 3 hours. Now, the paper will have 200 Multiple Choice Questions. All these questions will be from subjects such as

Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology and for 50 questions each and each question will be for 4 marks. The best part is that no negative marking for an incorrect answer.

The paper will appear in the English language only.

Admit Card:

After successfully submitting the application form, the exam conducting authority will release the admit card. Download the admit card from the official website and check the instructions mentioned in it. The admit card will not be sent via post or any other mode. Take a print of the admit card so that it would be easy to carry along to the examination center. The admit card comprises details such as name, address; email ID, exam day/date/time, etc.

Result:

The exam result will be announced on a fixed date through the official website. Download the exam result using the university website – www.bfuhs.ac.in. The result will be declared Rank-wise, Roll Number wise and category wise. The Ranking will be based on the result of PPMET-2022

Counseling:

There will be physical counseling after the result declaration. The counseling schedule such as date/time/venue will be announced via official website. Candidates are requested to appear for counseling along with the original and photocopy of the certificates for the purpose of verification. It is compulsory to carry an online admission application form as well. The fee submission process will also take place in the form of a Demand Draft favoring Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences payable at Faridkot.
