PSSOU D.El.Ed Admission 2023: Pandit Sundarlal Sharma (Open) University, PSSOU, conducts the entrance exam every year for admission to the D.El.Ed program. Candidates aspiring to appear for the entrance exam must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the university. Candidates failing to fulfill the eligibility criteria are barred from taking the examination. PSSOU D.El.Ed exam pattern is released by the university along with the official notification. After the conclusion of the entrance exam, selected candidates are called for the counseling process.
The D.El.Ed programme is also known as Diploma in Elementary Education, and it is a two-year full-time program divided into four semesters. Those applicants who have passed the 10+2 or similar examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply for this course. Candidates may be admitted to this programme based on their performance in the entrance exams.

PSSOU releases D.El.Ed Eligibility criteria on its official website along with the application form. Candidates planning to appear for the entrance examination for admission to the D.El.Ed program must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board. The candidate must have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in their 10+2.
Candidates must be below 18 years of age to appear for the D.El.Ed entrance examination. The maximum age to apply for the program for any candidate is 35 years (5-year relaxation for OBC/SC/ST category students).
Candidates should prepare for the entrance tests by familiarizing themselves with the exam’s syllabus and being well prepared before taking the exam.
