PSTET 2024: Punjab state teaching eligibility test (PSTET) is a state-level test that is conducted by the Punjab state. It is a test for the recruitment of eligible candidates for the designation of teachers for primary class (1-5) and for upper primary classes (6-8). The candidates who successfully qualify for the examination will be eligible to apply for the post of teacher in Punjab state. PSTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates applying for the examination before filling the application form check the eligibility criteria for the designation. Those who satisfy the eligibility can apply for it by filling the form from the official website. For Primary (1-5):
- The candidate must have passed 12th with at least 50% marks aggregate or pursuing 2 years diploma in elementary education OR
- Applying Candidates should have 12thwith at least 45% marks and should have 2 years diploma in elementary education from NCTE recognized institute. OR
- Applying Candidates should have passed 12th with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks and completed four years of the Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EL.ED). OR
- Applying Candidates should have passed the 12th examination with not less than 50% marks and passed or final year of Diploma in Education (two years duration). OR
- Applying Candidates must have Graduation and passed or pursuing in the final year of Diploma in Elementary Education (two years duration).

For Elementary Level (6-8):
- Applying candidate should have Graduated final year two years diploma in elementary education. OR
- Applying Candidate should have 50% marks in 12thclass and should have done one year B.Ed programme OR
- Applying Candidate should have completed Graduation with minimum 45% marks and passed or pursuing in Bachelor in Education of 1-year durations per the NCTE rules & regulations released on time to time. OR
- Applying Candidate should have completed 12th Examination with the 50% marks and also passed the final year of B.Sc/B.A. or B.Sc.Ed/B.A.Ed (4-year duration).

How to Apply for PSTET 2024:
The candidates for PSTET 2024 can apply by application form from the official website of the Education Board of Punjab state. The steps to fill the application form are given below.

- Click on apply online and Register yourself by filling the details.
- The details provided in the application form must be correct and filled with complete awareness.
- Upload the scanned documents like photograph and signature
- Submit the application fee
- Re-check the details before final Submitting.
- Take out the printout of the application form for future use.
Application Fee:
The Punjab TET 2024 Application Fees can be submitted through online as well as offline mode. Online by debit card, credit card, net banking, etc and offline by E-Challan of HDFC bank.
- SC/ST: – for paper 1 Rs 300and paper 2 Rs 600.
- General and OBC: – for paper 1 Rs 600 and paper 2 Rs 1200.
Admit Card:
- The admit card OF PSTET will be made available on the official website
- It is an important document to carry to the examination hall.
- Candidates can download it from the official site
- PSTET Admit card will get released 25 days before the examination.
- Admit card will not be sent to any candidate physically.
- If any error is in the admit card then directly convey to the conducting authority.
- Candidates need to admit card along with their admit card and also one ID proof.
Result:
- The result will be declared on the official website soon after the examination.
