- Those who completed their graduation, post-graduation in Science/ Humanities/ Social Sciences/Commerce/Home Science/ B.C.A/ B.B.A/B.A. LL.B/ B.Com. LL.B or some other qualification equivalent with 50% marks are eligible for seeking admission to the programme. During the calculation of merit, only marks acquired in Graduation only will be considered valid. There will be a marks relaxation of 5% marks in favor of SC/BC candidates.
- Candidate must have done graduation in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with at least 55% marks or some other equivalent qualifications are eligible to apply. However, during calculating the merit marks attained in the Graduation will be considered valid. There will be a provision of marks relaxation of 5% in favour of SC/BC candidates.
- Candidate with less than 50% or lesser marks will not be considered eligible to apply.
- There will be marks relaxation of 5 % marks in favor of SC/BC candidates. Candidates with less than 45% marks belonging to such categories will not be considered eligible to apply.
- The reservation in seats and relaxation in the qualifying marks in favor of the reserved categories according to the rules of Panjab Government.
Points to Keep in Mind PU B.Ed 2023:
- In addition to this, minimum qualifying marks will not automatically get entitle the candidate to seek admission in an institution but only help the candidate concerned to accomplish other institutional criteria which are notified by the institution concerned or Government concerned from time to time to apply for seeking admission. There will be provision for online admission for those candidates who will clear CET or Common Entrance Test and give the chance to select the options for colleges along with subject combination.
- Candidate must have studied subject combination for two years at the graduation level and post graduation level. Those who have done Honors can opt for a major subject where they can obtain Honors; the minor subject must have been studied for at least a year.
- Those who have appeared for the qualifying examination and waiting for the results may be permitted to apply for CET or Common Entrance Test at their own risk and responsibility and they will be considered eligible for counseling once they produce the evidence of having satisfied the above conditions on the counseling date.
- Re-evaluation/Result late (RL)/ Compartment cases, in case their results declared prior final counseling, will be considered subject to the availability of seats.

- Part A will be General Awareness Part comprises of 30 questions for 30 Marks
- Part B will be Teaching Potential comprises of 30 questions for 30 Marks
- Part C will be General Mental Ability Test comprises of 30 questions for 30 Marks
- Part D will be English will be compulsory for all Candidates also comprises of 30 questions for 30 Marks
- Part E will also be comprised of 30 Marks – 30 of Punjabi and 30 of Hindi
- Punjabi is mandatory for those who have studied the subject in Matriculation

- Paper will be comprised of 150 Multiple Choice questions.

Admit Card:
After the application form is filled, candidates will receive admit card/hall ticket via the main official site. This ticket consisted of various details such as date of exam, timings for examination, etc. Ensure that every candidate reaches on time at the exam centre. Another thing is, admit card will be released at least ten days prior to the date of the exam. It is compulsory to seek print out of the admit card and to carry it at the exam center.
