PUCET 2023: The Punjab University Common Entrance Test or PUCET examination will be organized offline between the months of April and June. This examination is conducted online by the Punjab University. This is a University level entrance test that is conducted each year for the various UG and the PG courses in the field of Law, Management, Health and Sciences, Engineering, Arts, and Humanities.

PUCET 2023 Application Form:

The candidates will be able to log in to the official website and fill up the application form. You will have to fill up the application form online.

Follow the steps given below to fill up the application form online:

• The application form will be available from the 3rd week of April 2023. The last date for the submission of the form will be in the third week of May 2023.
• The candidate will have to upload the passport size photograph as well as the signature in the prescribed format.
• It is also necessary for the candidates to ensure that they provide a valid email id and phone number so that all the required information can be sent there.
• The forms of only the eligible candidates will be accepted.
• You will not have to send the hard copy of the application form for the examination conducting authority.
• You will not be required to send a hard copy to the examining authority.
• Once you fill-up the application form, make sure that you take a printout of the same for future references.

Application Fee:

• You will be able to make the payment of the application fee online.
• You will be able to make the fee payment of the application fee using a debit card, credit card or through net banking.
• In order to make the fee payment offline, the candidate will have to use an SBI challan.
• For admission to the PCB/PCM/M group, the candidates belonging to the general category will have to pay Rs.2100 and for an additional paper, they will have to pay Rs.300/-.
• The candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PWD category will have to pay Rs.1050/- for admission to the PCB/PCM/M group and 300/- for the additional papers.

PUCET 2023 Exam Date:

Eligibility Criteria:

• The candidates will have to be a minimum of 17 years old before they can apply for this examination.
• The candidates will have to be the citizens of India.
• It is necessary for the candidates to get a minimum of 50% marks. The candidates who belong to the SC/ST/PWD category will have to get a minimum of 45% marks.
• It is necessary for the candidates to pass the class XII examination.
• It is also necessary for the candidates to have Physics, English, Chemistry as the mandatory subjects. The students also need to have Biology, Mathematics, or Biotechnology as the optional subjects in the class XII examination.

Exam Pattern:

• The mode of the examination will be offline.
• This examination will be conducted in English.
• The paper will have multiple-choice questions.
• There will be different sections in the question paper. You will get 70 minutes to complete each section.
• Students who belong to the PWD category will get 20 minutes extra to complete the section.
• The candidate will be given 2 marks for each correct answer.
• 25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• There will be a total of 240 questions. Each of the subjects (Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology) will carry 60 questions and there will be a total of 120 marks for each subject.

Admit Card:

The admit card will be released after a few days of the entrance examination. This will be available online. The admit card will be released in the last week of May 2023. The candidate will have to download the admit card by entering the user id and the password. The candidate will have to carry the admit card in the examination hall along with a photo id proof. Without it, the candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Answer Key:

The answer key will be released online. The students will have to enter the user id and the password to check out the answer key. They will be able to download the answer key from the official website. The answer key will be released on the month of June 2023. The students will be able to get a rough idea about the answers after checking the answer key.

Result:

The results will be declared online. This will also be available online on the official website. The students will be able to get access to the result by checking out the official website. The hard copy of the result will not be provided to students.

Cut Off

After the results, the cut-off will also be declared on the official website. The students will be able to put in the user id and the password to check out the cut-off.
