PWD Recruitment 2022: Public Work department also referred to as PWD constructs roads, bridges, flyovers, buildings, and complicated hierarchies like stadiums, border fencing, border roads, etc. This organization maintains non-residential structures other than railway, communication, and Doordarshan. This organization was formed in 1854 by Lord Dalhousie. This unit also serves as an engineering consultant for states.  Public Work Department is divided state-wise for the conservation of each city. PWD Recruitment 2022 Application Form:

Aspirants can get the application form from the website of the Public Works Department.  It can be submitted online by entering the personal details and educational qualifications of candidates carefully. Candidates are requested to enter their details with extra care because it cannot be edited once it is submitted. Details on the admit card will be as same as entered in the registration form. Below are the steps to submit the form online

4. Click on submit

The very last step for submission of the form is the payment of fees. The application form is also available offline in the department of health.

Application Fees:

The registration form will be incomplete without the payment of application fees. Application fees can be paid online through net banking, credit card, debit card, and other online money services.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should only submit the registration form if all the conditions are fulfilled by them. Below is the eligibility criteria for recruitment in PWD:

• Nationality of the spirit must be Indian
• The age of the applicant must be between 18 to 45 years
• The minimum education qualification is secondary education from any recognized board.
• For reserved categories, there is relaxation in the upper age limit

PWD Recruitment Exam Pattern:

There will be a pen paper-based offline exam and qualifying candidates will be called for personal interview by PWD. For some particular posts of the higher level mode of exam is online. The test will have questions about general and technical topics.  Candidates will get180 minutes to complete the test.

PWD Recruitment Syllabus:

The syllabus for the test will be different according to the post applied and area of the test. The syllabus for the test will be provided by the PWD itself. Below are some topics for the test

Admit Card:

PWD will provide Admit Card to students a few days before the exam. Admit cards can only be collected online there is no other way to collect the admit card. Candidates must take the printout of the admit card once they receive a notification. Permission to enter the examination hall will be granted only if the admit card is in the hand of the candidate. Admit card is a document with personal details like

1. Name
2. Date of birth
3. Registration number
4. Exam centers
5. Examination time

Candidates must check their forms thoroughly before downloading them. If there is any type of error in the form then he or she must contact the authority to correct it. Even after the exam, admit card must carefully be preserved by candidates for future uses like results and verification purposes.

Answer Key:

The answer key contains all the answers to the questions asked in the test. It is made available to candidates by the PWD after examination when the evaluation process is started. With the help of this answer key, students can calculate their marks before the result. If any candidate finds anything faulty in the answer then he or she can immediately contact the authority to make corrections in the answer.

Result:

The result will be announced by PWD through online mode. Candidates can check the result by filling in the particulars from the admit card. After the announcement of the result, the department will release a merit list of all the candidates. Candidates can check the merit list by entering personal details. The merit list will contain the names of candidates acquiring the maximum marks in the test. To get result candidates can follow the below steps:

Cut-Off:

The cut-off is set by the officials according to the zones of the test and by considering some other factors Such as:

1. Number of candidates appearing in the exam
2. Number of job vacancies available
3. The difficulty level of exam and interview
4. Previous year cut-off

There is a special relaxation for the reserved categories in the cut-off. It may vary from state to state and region to region. The candidate scoring marks more than the cut-off will get recruited in the PWD.
