Railway Recruitment 2022: By 2022 the Indian Railways will recruit more than four lakh people which state the recruitment of 10 percent candidates from economically backward classes as well. The Indian Railways is having a huge vacancy of nearly 15.06 lakh employees, 12.23 lakh requirements have been fulfilled but the rest 2.82 lakh posts are still empty. The Union Public Service Commission or UPSC will conduct the staffing of the Indian Railway for 2022. This decision has been taken after eight different railway services were joined.

Railway Recruitment 2022 Application Form:

The application form of Railway Recruitment will be obtainable in the month of January 2022. The forms will be accessible on the official website. Forms must be completed carefully before submission. Submission of application forms must be done before the stipulated due date. Candidates must acquire a printed copy of the filled application form for any further use. Students need to furnish different particulars like personal, educational details with valid e-mail id and contact numbers while registering for this Recruitment programme. They also have to upload a scanned picture and signature in the form as prescribed in the format. Railway Recruitment 2022 Application Fee:

Application Form submission is incomplete without the application fee. In order to submit the application form successfully, candidates need to pay this fee. The application fee for the Railway Recruitment form differs slightly for varied jobseekers. For candidates belonging to general and OBC categories, the application fee will be. Rs.500.The SC/ST/PWD candidates have to pay Rs 250 to fetch the same. The above payments can be done via online by using Credit or Debit cards and even through net banking. Candidates can opt for offline transfer of application fee by e-challan mode of SBI or from the Post Office.

RRB 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

The Railway Recruitment for 2022 is applicable for Indian citizens with valid documents. Applicants need to be within the age limit of 18 to 33. Reserved category candidates will have some age relaxation while applying for this. Railway job seekers can apply with their 10^th, 12^th and Graduation certificates. Postgraduate, Engineering and Diploma holders are equally eligible to apply. Candidates can be eligible if the minimum score is 40% for UR, 30% for both OBC and SC candidates while 25% is for ST candidates.

Exam Pattern:

The RRB 2022 will be based on objective questions. This online question paper will be in English and Hindi. For every correct answer, candidates can fetch 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The exam will be in two divisions. One will be for MCQ questions while the other will be a computer-based test. The test for CBT 1/ Computer-based test I will include topics from general awareness, general science, mathematics, reasoning to be answered within 3 hours for 100 marks. CBT 2 will have 150 questions to be completed within 2 hours. Here candidates have to answer 50 questions on general awareness, computer, environment and general science. The remaining 100 questions will be on technical capabilities.

General Ability include arithmetical reasoning, Input-Output, Number Series, syllogism, space visualization, Coding-decoding Similarities and dissimilarities, Seating arrangement, analogy Word Building CalendarCoding & Decoding,  non-verbal series, Statement conclusion, Decision making, Arithmetic number series, etc

Arithmetic includes Algebra, Ratio& Proportion, Interests, Time and Distance, Percentage, Profit & Loss, Mensuration, Age Problems, Pipes & Cisterns and Data Interpretation.

General Awareness includes Rail Budget, General Awareness on Railway, New Technologies & Reform in Indian Railway, Geography, Indian History, Politics, Sports, and Current Affairs, etc.

Admit Card:

The Railway Recruitment panel will release the admit cards just before the examination. Applicants have to take a copy of their to admit cards from the official website. Candidates must collect the admit cards once it is declared. It is an indispensable document containing all the essential details of an applicant. Hence they must take the print out of the admit card in the examination centre along with them as without an admit card a candidate cannot appear for the test. The Admit card will consist of the candidate’s name and photograph, name of the exam centre, education qualification, date of birth and date for admission test, etc. By using the user id and password candidates can have a complete view of their admit cards.

Result:

Result for Railway Recruitment 2022 will be declared on the website. Hence the candidates can check their results only through online mode. In October 2022 the results will be declared. Candidates can refer to their application number and password or date of birth on the official website to get their results. Candidates who will be selected in this examination will be eligible for the next rounds. In the next rounds, all the documents will be cross-examined and medical check-ups will be conducted. Only after clearing all these rounds, a candidate can secure a job in the Indian Railways.

Cut off

The cut-off of this examination mostly depends on the total number of applicants appearing for the test, available vacancies and on level of the question paper. Normally the cut off is released in four phases. Each phase will have a separate cut-off for different zones. The cut-off score will be on the total marks. The reserved categories will get certain relaxation.

Answer Key:

The Railway Recruitment 2022 Answer Key offers all the answers to the questions given in the test paper. After the examination is conducted the answer key will be released. During that time candidates can put forward their objections on any answers provided in the answer key. The answers will then be examined by the recruitment panel again and after proper clarification to the candidates, the final answer key will only be declared.
