Rajasthan Polytechnic 2023 Admission is supervised and managed by the Department of Technical Education, Rajasthan. Each year, the admissions of Diploma candidates into the Engineering and the Non-engineering stream is supervised and managed by this department under the guidance of the Directorate of Technical Education, headquartered at Jodhpur. The candidate desirous of gaining admission into any of the 184 private and PPP (Public Private Partnership Model) Polytechnic institutes, will have to fill the application form and submit it online, for Diploma Engineer courses. The non-Engineering course application is filled out and delivered to the choice of the institute in person or by post before the deadline in July 2023.
The candidate must have a valid e-Mitra ID to pay the application fee online. The candidate may also choose to seek help from the e-Mitra/CSC kiosks for generating the token number after paying the application fee at the kiosk.

Rajasthan Polytechnic Admission 2023 Application Form:
The application form (Rajasthan Polytechnic) for Engineering Diploma will available online at the HTE Rajasthan portal, two months before the admission of the candidates (from June 2023) into the three/two-year Diploma programs.
- The candidate must register with a valid email address and phone number to apply for Polytechnic admission.
- A candidate must study the category information provided in the application guidelines and take care to provide appropriate personal category details.
- The caste, residence, and other proof related certificate copies must be self-attested and presented at the kiosk for scanning the required documents.
- A nominal scanning fee, an application fee of Rs. 300 along with a service charge of Rs 20 for e-Mitra must be paid by the candidate to generate a valid token number which must be given during the online application form filling procedure at the kiosk.
- Candidates with scanned copies and valid e-Mitra ID for online payment may carry on with payment in the new invoice window and feed the token number generated in the application form window to continue with the online application procedure.
- The option forms where the candidate lists the institutes of their choice must be given after payment of the fee. A printout of the submitted form must be taken and kept for further reference.
The candidate applying for the non-Engineering diploma has to address the envelope containing filled in the application form. The form will self-attested copies of the marks sheet, and supporting certificates, to the Principal of the Polytechnic Institute of his/her choice.
Steps to apply for Rajasthan Polytechnic:
- Visit the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Rajasthan.
- Then click on, “Apply online” button.
- After that fill basic details such as the candidate’s name, mail ID, phone number, etc.
- Registration no. & password will be sent to candidates registered ID & no.
- Now candidates must login using the given login credentials.
- Fill other asked & required details as academic, qualification, etc.
- Upload passport size photograph & signature in JPG, PNG, or GIF format.
- Go through all the details & verify it.
- After verification, submit the application fee.
- Now a confirmation page will appear on your computer screen.
- Take its printout & keep it safe till future use.

Eligibility Criteria:
For Engineering Diploma courses:
- Qualification: Candidates must have completed class 10th or equivalent from any recognized board.
- Age Criteria: There will be no age limit.
- Mandatory Subjects: It is compulsory to have Science & Mathematics subjects in the qualifying exam and Candidates must have a score minimum of 35% marks.
- Other board examination will be valid only for Rajasthan, Ajmer, Kendriya Board, and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board.
For Non-Engineering Diploma Courses:
- Qualification: Candidates must have completed class 10th or equivalent from any recognized board.
- Age Limit: There will be no age limit to apply for the non-engineering diploma course.
- Percentage: Candidates should score 35% marks in the qualifying exam.
For Engineering Lateral Entry Course:
- Qualification: Candidates should have passed Diploma Engineering, 12th Science vocational/technical, 10 (+2 year ITI) with appropriate specialization, or 10 (+2) PCM from RBSE/CBSE Delhi or Equivalent.
- Mandatory Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics subjects will be compulsory in class 12th.
- Age limit: No age limit to fill the application form.
Rajasthan Polytechnic Merit List:
Rajasthan Polytechnic 2023 Provisional merit list has been released on 22nd August 2023 (for engineering & non-engineering). Authority has been published the final Merit List on 26th August 2023 online. Merit List will be published on the basis of the candidate’s performance. After the merit list is announced candidates get admission based on performance.
