Rajasthan University Admission 2023: The University of Rajasthan aims at providing admission to students in undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate and Ph.D. courses. Candidates are provided admission to the courses based on the merit in the qualifying exam, BJEE (Main)/NEET and MPAT. Rajasthan University 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

It is very crucial to know whether the applicant is eligible for a specific program or not. Check the eligibility criteria below:

  • A. Hindi: Applicant must have cleared B.A. with at least 48% or post-graduation or graduation in the specific subject or equivalent with a minimum 55% aggregate from some recognized university.
  • A. Philosophy: To apply for this programme, the applicant must have completed graduation in any stream with at least 45% from any recognized university.
  • MA Urdu: Applicant must have cleared graduation with at least 40% or a postgraduate exam with a minimum 40% or must have attained a degree of graduation in any subject or equivalent with at least 55% with Urdu as one of the subjects from any recognized university.
  • A. English: Applicant must have completed graduation with at least 48% marks in aggregate or post-graduation or bachelor in a specific subject or equivalent, and attained at least 55% aggregate from some recognized university.
  • A. French: For this programme, the applicant must have done graduation with French as an optional subject with at least 45% aggregate from a recognized university. Or else, applicant must be possessed with the degree of graduation in any stream with a post-diploma in French with at least 45% or level III (B1) from any Alliance Francaise.
  • A. Sanskrit: The minimum qualification is a B.A. degree with at least 45% or must be possessed with the postgraduate degree or bachelor’s degree in the specific subject with a minimum 55% as aggregate.
  • Com. Business Administration: To apply for this course, the minimum qualification should be B.Com with a minimum 50% aggregate. Applicant can be a postgraduate or graduates in the specific subject with at least 55% marks from a recognized university to apply.
  • Com. (ABST) – Candidate must be possessed with the B.Com. degree with a minimum 50% or a bachelor’s degree or postgraduate degree in the specific subject with minimum 55% marks.
  • To apply for M.Com.(Economic Administration Financial Management)/M.Com. (Cooperation) – the required qualification is B.Com with at least 50% aggregate. If a candidate is a postgraduate or graduate in a particular subject with at least 55% marks from a recognized university may also apply for an exam. Other than this, if the applicant has completed M.A. Economics from a recognized university may also apply for the course.
  • A. Dramatics: Applicant must have completed graduation degree from a recognized university to apply for M.A. Dramatics
  • A. Drawing and Painting: Applicant must have completed graduation with Drawing and Painting as an optional subject recognized by the university with minimum 50% marks.
  • Master of Cost Control and Accounts: To apply for this course, an applicant must be a graduate or postgraduate from Arts/Commerce/Science with 40% marks
  • Master of Library & Information Science: To apply for this course, the candidate must have done graduation in a Bachelor of Library and Information Science from any recognized university or the University of Rajasthan. The Postgraduate diploma holders in Library and Information Science must have acquired a minimum 50% aggregate to apply.
  • P.A (Music, Vocal Instrument-Sitar) – Applicant must be a graduate from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks.
  • A. (Music) (Vocal Instrumental -Sitar) – The candidate must have completed graduation with Music as an optional subject with minimum 50% marks from some recognized university.
  • Sc. Botany/Chemistry/Geology: The applicant must be possessed with B.Sc. (pass course or Hons.) degree in Botany, Chemistry and Geology for M.Sc. in Botany, Chemistry, and Geology under 10+2+3 pattern accepted by the university. For M.Sc. in Botany/Chemistry/Geology, applicants must have taken subjects such as Botany/Chemistry/Geology respectively with at least 55% marks.
  • Sc. Geography: To do this course, the candidate must have completed B.A./B.Sc. in Geography recognized by the university under 10+2+3 pattern with Geography as one of the subjects. The applicant must have attained the aggregate of 55% marks.
  • Sc. (Home Science) in Food and Human Nutrition, Human Development and Family, Development Communication and Extension: To apply for this course, applicant must have completed graduation in Science or B.Sc. in Home Science under 10+2+3 pattern recognized by the university.
  • Sc. Zoology: To do this course, applicant must have done B.Sc. degree (Hons. or pass) with a minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. Candidates must have taken Zoology as mandatory subjects in graduation.
  • Sc. Physics: To apply for this course, the minimum eligibility is B.Sc. degree (Hons. or pass) with at least 55% with Physics as one of the subjects.
  • A./M.Sc. Statistics: To apply for this course, applicant must have done B.A./B.Sc. degree (Hons. or pass course) with Maths/Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subjects recognized by the university. The candidate must have scored at least 55%.
  • Sc. Environment Science: To do this course, the candidate must be a graduate in Science/Engineering/Medical Science/Law (B.Sc.)/Agriculture with 50% marks at least
  • A./M.Sc. Anthropology: To apply for this another post graduate course, candidate must have done graduation in any discipline with at least 48% marks.
  • A/M.Sc. Mathematics: To apply for this course, the candidate must have completed B.A./B.Sc. (pass or Hons.) degree under 10+2+3 pattern with a minimum 55% as the aggregate. Applicant must have taken Mathematics as one of the subjects.
  • A/M.Sc. Psychology: To apply for this course, candidate must have done B.Sc. or B.A with Psychology and attained at least 55% from some recognized university.
  • A. Economics: To apply for this course, candidate must have completed graduation from some recognized university with at least 48% marks. Or postgraduates or graduates in the specific subject or equivalent with minimum 55% as the aggregate.
  • A. History/Political Science/Public Administration: To do this course, candidate must be possessed with the B.A. degree from the recognized university with at least 48% marks. Or applicant must have completed graduation/ post graduation with 55% in aggregate.
  • A. Sociology/Museology and Conservation: To apply for this course, candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline with at least 48% or any equivalent CGPA.
  • Master of Human Resource Management/Master of International Business: The minimum required qualification is graduation from a recognized university in any discipline with at least 45% marks
  • Master of Commerce (Financial Analysis and Control) – If you want to apply for this course then you must be a graduate from a recognized university in any discipline with minimum 50% marks.
  • Master of Visual Arts (Applied Arts)/Master of Visual Arts (Sculpture) – To apply for this course, the minimum qualification is B.V.A., B.F.A. with at least 50% aggregate from some recognized university.
  • A. (Painting and Drawing) – The minimum qualification is graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
  • A/M.Sc. Psychology: To apply for this course, candidate must have completed B.Sc./B.A. with Psychology as one of the subjects with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.
  • Sc. Biotechnology: To do this course, applicant must have completed B.Sc. degree (Hons. Or Pass course) under the 10+2+3 pattern from a recognized university with aggregate of 55%. Candidates must have studied Pharmacy/Zoology/Biotechnology/Pharmacy/ Agriculture/Botany/Chemistry/Microbiology as one of the subjects
  • Sc. IT: To pursue admission to this course, applicant must have completed B.A., B.Com., B.Sc. (Hons. or pass) under the 10+2+3 pattern from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.
  • A. Rajasthani Language, Literature Culture: To acquire this course, applicant must have studied B.A. with at least 48% aggregate from a recognized university. Besides this, candidate possessed with the degree of graduation or post graduation in any discipline with at least 55% or any equivalent exam with 55% as the minimum aggregate may also apply.
  • Sc. Microbiology: The minimum qualification to apply for this course is B.Sc. (Pass or Hons.) from a recognized university with a minimum 55% aggregate. Candidates should must have studied any of the subjects from Microbiology/Zoology/Biotechnology/Chemistry/Pharmacy/Chemistry/Life sciences/Genetics/Biochemistry/Integrated Biotechnology/Integrated Microbiology at the degree level.

Exam Pattern:

Candidates preparing for the competitive examination must have complete information about the examination pattern. The entrance test will be commenced in the offline mode for 2 hours. The other details such as marks distribution, number of questions, etc are described below:

  • General Knowledge: History, Political Science, Current Affairs, Geography, Basic Sciences, Economy, Books and Authors

Answer Key:

The answer key will also be released after the examination. And for this, use the official website of Rajasthan University once again. The Answer key will be available in PDF format.   • Go to the official website of – uniraj.ac.in
  • After this, check the notifications and announcements related to the URATPG examination.
  • Now, click on the “Answer keys for URATPG”.
  • The answer key will appear on the screen.
  • Choose the applied programme from the list of the programmes.
  • The answer key will flash on the screen.

Result:

Those who have appeared in the PG examination may check the examination result from the official website of Rajasthan in October. The result for UG programmes will release in September. Based on the result, the applicants will be called for document verification. The selection process will be commenced after the document verification process come to an end.

Counselling:

The counseling process will begin and in this regard, the applicant must visit the respective department for the Rajasthan University 2021 counselling. Make sure to carry the original documents at the Rajasthan University counselling venue to check the documents and verify the eligibility.
