Rashtriya Military School Ajmer Admission 2022: Rashtriya Military School, Ajmer was founded on 15th November 1930 as King George’s Royal Indian Military School to provide education to sons of defense personnel. In the year 1952, the school was reorganized on public school lines and admissions were provided to sons of Defence Service Officers and Civilians. In the year 1966, the motto ‘play the game’ was replaced with ‘Sheelam Param Bhushanam’ which means ‘character is the highest virtue’. Rashtriya Military School Ajmer 2022 Application Form:

• The prospectus and Application forms to apply for Rashtriya Military School Ajmer Admission 2022 will cost Rs.600/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ST) via Cash/DD
• Prospectus and Application form can also be acquired via post by forwarding self-addressed slip and Rs.650/- (Rs.350/- for SC/ST) (Rs.50/- for postage) via Demand Draft payable at respective Rashtriya Military School (in favour of “Principal, Rashtriya Military School”)

 Rashtriya Military School Ajmer Admission 2022- Annual Fee Structure:

The tuition fee is charged in one installment every year for all Classes VI to XII

• Civilians: 24,000/- Annually
• Armed Forces Officers (Including Ex-service officers): Rs. 15,000/- Annually
• ORs & their equivalents in the Navy and IAF (including Ex-Servicemen): Rs. 4,800/- Annually
• JCOs & their equivalents in the Navy and IAF (including Ex-Servicemen): Rs. 7,200/- Annually
• SC/ST (Entitled & Non- entitled excluding officers): 25% of the fee to be paid.

Note: Submit the fee at one go at the beginning of the session.  In addition to tuition fees, the Pocket Money, caution Money, etc will also be charged from each student.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Class VI: Candidates (boys & girls) aged between 10-12 years as of 31 March 2022 may apply for admission.
• Class IX: Only boys of age between 13-15 years as of 31 March 2022 may apply for admission.
• There will be six months age relaxation in the upper age limit for the sons of personnel Killed in Action
• To acquire admission in class VI, no previous education qualification is compulsory.
• To apply for class IX, the candidate must have successfully cleared Class VIII from a government /recognized school. Students studying in Class VIII may also apply for the entrance exam.
• Candidates will undergo the medical exam at Military Hospitals as nominated by the Director-General of Medical Services before seeking admission and those who fond medically fit seek admission.

Reservation of Vacancies:

• 70% of seats will be forwards of JCOs/OR of Army, Navy, and AF (including ex-servicemen).
• 30% of seats will be forwards of officers of Army, Navy, and AF (including retired Officers) and wards of civilians.
• 50 seats will be reserved for wards of service personnel Killed in Action.

Important to Note: 27%, 15%, and 7.5% seats are reserved for OBC (Non Creamy Layer), SC, and ST in all categories. For Class-VI, 10% seats or 30 vacancies maximum (put together in all 05 RMSs) will be reserved for girl candidates

Exam Pattern:

• There will be a Common Entrance Test (CET) for seeking admission to Class VI & IX in the month of January 2022.
• Candidates applied for class VI will prepare in subjects such as Intelligence, General Knowledge, Mathematics & English.
• Candidates applied for class IX will prepare from subjects such as English, Hindi, Social Science, Mathematics and Science.

Interview:

Those who successfully clear the CET will move for Interviews at respective Rashtriya Military Schools. The final merit list will be released after the Interview. Admit Cards & results will be provided via the official website –  www.rashtriyamilitaryschools.in

Candidates who clear the Common Entrance Test and are figuring in the merit list will be required to appear for Interviews at respective Rashtriya Military Schools.
