Rashtriya Military School Belgaum Admission 2023: Rashtriya Military Schools are under top category schools that comes into the category of Army. • Class VI: Only boy candidates aged between 10-12 years as of March 31, 2023, can apply for admission to Rashtriya Military Schools in Class VI
• Class IX: The only boy aged between 13-15 yrs as of 31 March 2023 can apply for admission to Class IX

Note: There will be an age relaxation of 6 months in the upper age limit to the wards of personnel Killed in Action.

Education Qualification:

Education criteria are also different for admission to class VI and IX, check below:

• For admission to class VI, the candidate doesn’t require previous education qualification.
• For admission to class IX, the applicant must have successfully cleared Class VIII from a government /recognized school before the date of admission to a Rashtriya Military School. Those who are studying in Class VIII may also apply for the entrance test for admission to IX.

Medical: According to the rules of Rashtriya Military School, selected children will go through a medical examination at Military Hospitals as nominated by the Director General of Medical Services before seeking admission. Those who are absolutely medically fit will seek admission.

Rashtriya Military School Belgaum Admission 2023 application form will be released via official website. Download the application form and fill all the fields carefully. Make sure that information entered by you should be absolutely genuine. After filling in all the details, upload the documents and submit the form. Take a print of the filled admit card before making the final submission.

Application Fee:

There are two ways of submitting an application fee:

1. By hand: Those who submit by hand will pay Rs.600/- and SC/ST category will pay Rs. 300/- by cash/Demand Draft to sell counter in Rashtriya Military School Belgaum.
2. By Post: If you are opting by post then the General Category applicant will pay Rs. 650/- by DD and SC/ST category applicants will submit Rs. 350/- by DD

Note: Students need to send a self-address slip with Demand Draft (DD) payable Rashtriya Military School Belgaum in favor of Principal, Rashtriya Military School Belgaum.

Admit Card:

The exam conducting body will release the admit card for the entrance examination on its official website www.rashtriyamilitaryschools.in. Download the admit card and take a print of the admit card. It is crucial to carry a copy of the admit card to the exam centre. The applicant cannot enter the examination hall without an admit card. Candidates will find details such as exam venue/day/date/time on the admit card. Once you download the admit card, go through all the details once and in case of any mistake, contact the exam conducting body.

About Rashtriya Military School Belgaum Entrance Exam:

• Class VI: Candidate will go through Common Entrance Test or CET for attaining admission to class VI. This exam will commence in the month of December every year. The examination will be objective type consisted of subjects such as Intelligence, General Knowledge, Mathematics and English of Class V.
• Class IX: For admission to class IX, the candidate will go through an entrance test in the month of December. The syllabus will be of class VIII. Paper will be Objective type in nature. Subjects will be English, Hindi, Social Science, Mathematics, and Science.

Results and Interview:

Those who successfully clear the entrance test or CET will appear for Interview at respective Rashtriya Military Schools. There will be a release of the final merit list after the Interview. Check the official website to check the results.

Reservation of Vacancies:

• The school will allow 70% for wards of JCOs/OR of Army, Navy and AF (including ex-servicemen)
• 30% for wards of officers of Army, Navy and AF (including retired Officers) and wards of civilians
• 50 seats are allotted for the children of those who Killed in Action category, in all five RMSs together, at any point of time

Note: 15% and 7.5% seats are reserved for SC and ST in all the above-mentioned categories.

Annual Fee Structure:

• Wards Of Jcos & Equivalent (Retd/Serving) will pay Rs 7,200/- Annually
• Wards Of Or & Equivalent (Retd/Serving) will pay Rs 4,800/- Annually

Non-Entitled

• Wards Of Offers (Incl Retd) will submit Rs 15,000/- Annually
• Wards Of Civilians will submit Rs 24,000/- Annually
