REET Exam 2022 Eligibility Criteria:
Eligibility Criteria vary from one level to the other. Read the info below:
- For Primary Level (from Class 1st to 5th): Applicant is required to have done with 12th class examination with at least 50% marks OR must have graduated from any recognized university. In inclusion to this, candidates must have 2 Years Elementary Education Diploma or 4 years B. El. Ed. Diploma or appearing in the final year of the Diploma Exam
- For Secondary Level from Class 6th to 8th, candidates must have cleared graduation along with 2 years of Elementary Education Diploma. Or else, the candidate must be a Graduate with a minimum of 50% marks and must have passed 1-year in B.Ed. Or appearing in the final year of course 2 years B.Ed. Course OR Graduate must have attained acquired minimum 45% marks and must have passed at least 1-year in B.Ed. or appearing in the final year of course 2 years B.Ed. Course or must have attained 50% marks in senior secondary and must have passed 4 years in B. El. Ed. Diploma or appearing in the final year of the Diploma Exam.
REET Exam Pattern:

Exam Pattern for level I:
- Level I include150 questions. Every question is for 1 mark. Those who belong to the General category need to attain 60% marks and for other categories, 55% marks are enough.
Subjects included in the exam are as follows:
- Child Development & Pedagogy (Compulsory), 30 questions for 30 marks.
- The language I: Hindi/Sanskrit/English/Gujarati/Punjabi/Sindhi/Urdu, 30 questions for 30 marks.
- Mathematics, 30 questions for 30 marks
- Environmental Studies, 30 questions for 30 marks
- The time to attempt the exam will be 2:30 Hours
Exam Pattern for level II:
Those who are applying for the Level II exam. Candidates are required to select either social science or science. Those who belong to the general category are needed to category need to attain at least 60% marks and those who belong to other categories must attain at least 55% marks to qualify for this exam.
Subjects included in the exam are as follows:
- Child Development & Pedagogy (Compulsory), 30 questions for 30 marks.
- The language I: Hindi/Sanskrit/English/Gujarati/Punjabi/Sindhi/Urdu, 30 questions for 30 marks.
- Language II: Hindi/English/Sanskrit/Gujarati/Punjabi/Sindhi/Urdu, 30 questions for 30 marks.
