REET Admission: Rajasthan Eligibility Exam (REET) is an entrance exam for the recruitment of Teachers. This exam is conducted every year by the Department of School Education Board Rajasthan. It is also known as REET. It is a state-level entrance examination for candidates students who are interested in the teaching department and want to make their career in the government sector. REET would be conducted in districts wise for the candidates belonging to Rajasthan state. The candidates who successfully clear the REET examination candidates will get the Eligibility to get a job through TGT in Rajasthan. The Registration process for REET Exam will begin in January. Interested candidates can apply for it. How to Apply For REET:

  • Open the official website to apply for REET:www.rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
  • Read the instruction provided on the official page before applying for an application form.
  • Select the link showing REET and then apply online through that link.
  • Enter your details like personal information asked in the application form.
  • Make the necessary payment of the application form.
  • Recheck the application form and then submit it before the closing date of the application form.
  • Take out a hard copy of the duly filled registration form.

REET Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

For Class 1st to Class 5th (Primary Teacher):

The candidate should have passed their 12th examination must with a minimum of 50% marks and should have completed 2 years D.EL.ED (Diploma in Elementary Education) and appearing candidates can also apply.
OR
The candidates who passed their Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) are also eligible to apply.
OR
The candidates holding a Diploma in Special Education of 2 years with 50% aggregate marks in the Senior Secondary examination are eligible to apply.
OR
The candidates Graduated with Bachelor’s Degree candidates along with D.El.Ed of 2 years is eligible to apply.

For Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6 to 8):

The candidate must have graduated along with D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) of 2-year.
OR
The candidate must have graduated by having also one year of B.Ed education to apply for this post.
OR
The candidate must have passed 12th standard with 50% aggregate marks after 12th qualification is required that is Bachelor of Elementary Education ((B.EL.Ed) of 4 years.

OR

The eligible candidates must have completed their 12th with the required 50% aggregate marks and passed under-graduation in B.Sc.Ed B.A / B.Sc.Ed / B.A. Ed.

Age Limit: The Age limit for interested candidates is between 18 to 32 years.

Application Fee:

The candidates need to pay Rs.550/- for one paper as an application fee and for both exams: Rs.750/- as an application fee.

Exam Pattern:

  • Mode of examination: The REET examination will be conducted through offline mode.
  • Duration: The duration of the examination is 2:30 hours.
  • Type of questions: The type of questions asked will be of a multiple-choice type.
  • Language: Except for language subjects, the paper will be in Hindi and English.
  • Marking scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer and there is no negative marking.

Admit Card:

The admit card of REET will be issued for Rajasthan Teacher Jobs. The admit card will get released a few days before the exam. Admit card is a mandatory document for candidates to carry at the examination venue as entry will be given based on that only. The candidates without admit card will not be allowed to give the examination. Candidates also need to carry one ID proof along with them.

Result:

The REET will be declared two months after the written exam. The candidates need to visit the official website to check the result by entering their details like user id and password. Rajasthan REET Merit List is the last process for the selection of the candidates for REET recruitment.

Cut Off:

The cutoff mark is a minimum mark required to qualifying the examination. The cut-off marks for REET will be decided for shortlisting the selection of candidates. The merit list and the cut-off marks will be prepared by the exam conducting body. The cutoff marks will be fixed based on various factors like marks in the exam, No of candidates in the exam, and no. of posts.
