- The application process is an online process.
- Go to the official website to apply.
- First, applicants need to register themselves.
- In the next step, create a login ID by using the User Name, Email ID, and password sent to the applicant’s mobile number.

Application Fees:

- A person with a Disability (PwD) of any category: INR 450/-

Eligibility Criteria:
Check the eligibility conditions for different courses:
B.Sc B. Ed:
- Those who have cleared class XII with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Statistics (PCM) fulfill the RIE CEE eligibility criteria for BSc BEd course admission under the Physical Science group.
- On the other hand, those who have cleared class XII with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) fulfill the eligibility criteria for the BSc BEd course under the Biological Science group.
- It is mandatory to must have cleared Class XII from some recognized board with at least 50% aggregate marks and 45% marks for SC/ST/PH category candidates).
- Those who are appearing for class XII may also apply.
BA B. Ed:
- Those who have completed class XII in any of the streams such as Science, Commerce, or Humanities with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 45% marks for SC/ ST/ PH category candidates may apply for the course.
- Those who are in their Class XII may also apply for the course.
MSc Ed:
- Applicants must have cleared class XII with Class XII subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Statistics subjects and attained at least 50% aggregate marks and 45% marks for reserved category applicants.
- Those who are appearing in Class XII may also apply for M. Sc Ed.
Selection Process:
Here is the selection procedure:
- 60% weightage is given to RIE CEE marks and 40% weightage is to the Qualifying test.
- TIE cases are solved based on the scores attained in teaching Aptitude Tests and age
- RIE provides one seat for each course over and above the regular quota for NTSE awardees.
- Further admission depends on the Seat Reservation.
Exam Pattern:

- The exam will be conducted in offline mode.
- The candidate will get 2 hours to complete the paper.
- There will be 80 questions for 140 marks in the paper.
- The candidate will receive 2 marks for every correct answer and there will be a deduction of 0.5 Marks for an incorrect answer.
- No marks will be awarded for the unattended question.
- Group A Exam is based on the level of Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary Education.
- Group B is based on the Graduation level.
- The exam will be commenced in the English Language

- Language Proficiency (English) 20 Questions for 40 Marks
- Teaching Aptitude/Attitude, 30 Questions for 40 Marks
- Reasoning Ability, 30 Questions for 60 Marks

- Language Proficiency: It includes the topics such as comprehension, sentence rearrangement, finding errors in parts of the words for the incomplete sentences, selecting suitable words for the blanks, sequencing, synonyms, antonyms, idioms, prepositions, tenses, and articles.
- Teaching Aptitude: Education, children and teaching profession, interest in teaching, leadership qualities & group management, emotional & social adjustment, interpersonal skills, and general awareness of contemporary issues about school education
- Reasoning Ability: It comprises questions based on verbal non-verbal reasoning, missing numbers, number series, letter series, theme finding, jumbled sentences, the odd one out, arranging the statements in a sequential form, statement, and conclusions, syllogism, logical problems, establishing relationships.

The admit card will be released through the official website. Download the admit card from the official website and candidates will be allowed to enter the examination only with the admit card. Also, carry a relevant Photo ID Card to enter in the examination hall.

Results:
The result will be announced on the official website of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). To check the result, log in using the USER ID and password. The exam will be announced in the form of a Rank Card. Separate cut-off lists for each course will be released by each participating college of NCERT.

The counseling process for RIE CEE will begin after the result declaration. Those who clear the exam will be called for the counseling process.
