RIMC Admission 2024: Rashtriya Indian military college (RIMC) is a public school for boys & girls situated in Doon valley Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Rashtriya Indian military college was established in 1922 with the aim of preparing boys & girls for defense services. It trains them to be a part of the Indian naval academy, National Defense Academy, and other armed forces of India. RIMC conducts a national-level examination for candidates to select them for college. The examination is conducted twice a year, once in the month of June and another in the month of December. RIMC Admission 2024 Application Form:

• The application form for RIMC can be obtained from the college itself. Also to Dehradun through speed post by sending self-addressed slip along with demand draft.
• Demand Draft should be drawn in the favour of “the commandant, Rashtriya Indian military college Dehradun” Uttarakhand Pin Code 248003.
• The application fee for the general category is Rs. 600 and for SC/ST is Rs 555.
• The candidates have to submit 2 copies of the application form along with 2 passport size photographs.
• The Domicile certificate and Birth certificate issued by Municipal Corporation/Gram Panchayat must also be sent.
• Candidates of SC/ST category must attest to their category certificate.

• Photocopy of parent’s annual income certificate, ITR & assessment order

• Rs.5000/-  cash for the opening personal account

Application fee:

• The Application fee for General candidates is Rs.600/-.
• For SC/ST candidates the Application fee is Rs.555/-
• Demand draft should be drawn in the favor of “COMMANDANT RIMC DEHRADUN”, BRANCH SBI TEL BHAWAN, DEHRADUN BANK CODE 01576, UTTARAKHAND”.
• The application fee will not be refunded in any condition.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Both boys & girls are eligible for Rashtriya Indian military college.
• The age of the candidate appearing should be not less than 11½ years and had not attained 13 years at the time of admission i.e. on 1^st July 2022.
• Candidates should be studying in Class VII or passed Class VII from a recognized school at the time of admission.

Selection Process:

The examination process is conducted in three phases which are written, interview, and medical.

• Written Examination: The exam will be of 400 marks and the qualifying marks are a minimum of 200.
• Vice-Voce: The candidates who will qualify for the written exam will be called for vice-voice. Candidates must score 50% marks to qualify for the exam.
• Medical Examination: All the selected candidates will be called for medical examination in the Military Hospital.

Exam Pattern:

In written examination, there are three subjects in question paper English, mathematics, and general knowledge. Two papers are conducted. The Exam will be conducted in an offline mode (written examination).

Mathematics	200 Marks (Paper languages will be English or Hindi)
English	125 Marks
General Knowledge (GK)	75 Marks.
Interview	50 Marks (After the qualify the Written exam candidates can appear the interview.)
Medical Board	For the Medical candidates must qualify the written & Interview. Candidates go for your medical test nearest Army/Navy Hospital/AF.

Interview:

• The next stage after the written examination is an interview. The student qualifying the exam will be called for the interview process.
• To qualify interview the Candidates have to obtain a minimum of 50% marks.
• The personality and the intelligence of the candidates will be tested
• The interview venue will be informed to candidates after the Result.

Medical Examination:

• After qualifying the examination the candidates will have to give the medical examination.
• Only those candidates who are medically fit will be selected for RIMC
• The Medical examination will be held at Military Hospital.
• The medical test is the stage of the candidate’s selection and it does not suggest the Final Selection of RIMC.

Admit Card:

RIMC 2024 Admit Card will be released after the submit the examination form. The admit card will be sent by the State Authority. There is no option to get the admit card online mode, the authority will send the Hall Ticket via speed post. Regarding any other query, candidates can contact the authority.

Result:

RIMC will declare the final result on the official Website. The selected candidates will be issued a call letter for joining. The result will be published in the form of a merit list which will contain the name of all qualified candidates.
