RPVT 2023 Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Exam Date, Admit Card

RPVT 2023: RPVT stands for Rajasthan Pre-Veterinary Test. This test is commenced by the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS). The aim of conducting this examination is to select eligible candidates for admission to B.V.Sc and A.H degree courses. An estimated number of seats is 300. The exam is conducted once a year in offline mode. The test is conducted in India and candidates from Rajasthan can appear for the exam. The entrance examination will be commenced at Jaipur, Bikaner, and Udaipur. Here are the details about RPVT 2023 entrance test such as eligibility criteria, the application process, the application fee, etc.

RPVT 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria to appear in RPVT 2023 are as follows:

Age: The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years and a maximum of 25 years to appear in the test. However, reserved category applicants will get an age relaxation of   5 years.

Academic Qualifications:

  • Applicant must have completed class XII or equivalent exam with Science or Biology (Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology) group from some recognized Indian Board.
  • General category Applicants must have attained the minimum 50% marks in aggregate while reserved category candidates will get 5% marks relaxation.

Domicile: Only Rajasthan’s domicile and Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for RPVT 2023.

RPVT 2023 Application Form:

After checking the eligibility criteria, candidates will fill the application form, and details about the same are as follows:

  1. Start with the registration and for this, visit the official website rajuvas.org. Register by filling the personal as well as educational details.
  2. After this, click on ‘Apply Online’
  3. Then from the new link, click on ‘New Registration’.
  4. Now start filling the application form with accurate details. Make sure not to make any spelling errors.
  5. Upload the documents and submit the application fee using online mode.
  6. Take a print of the duly filled application form for reference purposes.

Application Fee:

The B.V.Sc  Application Fee is the most important requirement every candidate has to fulfill. The application fee is INR 3000 for all categories and with late, it is INR 6000

Exam Center:

Candidates will appear for RPVT 2023 at the examination center filled in the application form. Here are the examination centers and their respective code:

  • Bikaner – 01
  • Jaipur – 02

Exam Pattern:

It is important for candidates to have complete information about the exam pattern. This will give an idea to the applicants about the question paper, the number of questions, time duration, etc. Check the details below:

  • The Paper will have 180 Objective Type Questions
  • The paper has to be completed in 3 hours
  • Paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions
  • One mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer
  • Two languages are there on paper – English, and Hindi. Candidates can use either of them.

Marks Distribution: Paper will have 3 sections and each section has a certain number of questions:

  1. Physics – 45
  2. Chemistry – 45
  3. Biology (Botany and Zoology) – 90

Exam Syllabus:

The question paper includes questions from classes XI and XII under Pre-Medical/Intermediate Science or some other recognized exam from any Indian University/State Board/CBSE. Check the syllabus below:

RPVT 2023 Exam Date:

Online Application Form starts to submit March 2023
Submission of online application forms and successful final transaction of the fee (With late fees) April 2023
Correction window open for an application form April 2023
Admit Card May 2023
Exam Date June 2023
Result Declaration July 2023

Admit Card:

The admit card will be provided to candidates who have successfully registered for RPVT. And applicants will be informed about the admit card through email or SMS. Download the admit using the official website. Here are the steps to download admit card:

  1. First, go to the official website of RPVT 2023.
  2. After this, click the link – RPVT Admit Card 2023.
  3. Now, click on Sign in.
  4. You will find a dialogue box on the screen, candidates will enter their User ID and password to log in.
  5. Once candidates log in, they will see the option to download admit card.
  6. Take minimum 2 colored copies of admit card to carry at the examination center and for further requirements.

Exam Result:

The result of 2023 will be announced and released in July. The merit list will be created based on the scores attained by the candidate. Steps to check the exam result are as follows:

  1. Go to the official website
  2. Check the RPVT 2023 Result tab and click on it
  3. A list of courses will flash on the screen
  4. Choose the course for which you have applied and this will lead to the download of the PDF
  5. Click the PDF file and the new window will open.
  6. This file consisted of the names of the applicants who have cleared the RPVT 2023 test successfully

Cut Off:

The details about the cut off marks is given below:

  • General category – 52 % to 67 %
  • OBC category – 46 % to 63 %
  • SC category – 39 % to 53 %
  • ST category – 39 % to 53 %
  • Another category – 32 % to 48 %

Counselling Round:

After the result declaration, the successful candidates will appear for the counseling process. It is mandatory to carry all the original documents to appear in the counseling. Here is the list of documents needed for counseling:

  • Two latest colored photos with name and date written on it.
  • RPVT 2023 Application Form, Admit Card, and Result card
  • Character Certificate acquired from last attended school/college.
  • Mark sheet and Certificate of Senior Secondary or some other equivalent Exam.
  • Digital Domicile Certificate issued by Rajasthan State authority
  • Transfer Certificate (If applicable)
  • Mark sheet of class XII
  • Digital Caste Certificate (If needed)
  • The income certificate of parents if working under any Government/Public Sector Enterprises/Autonomous bodies/Private Organizations
  • Medical certificate (physically handicapped category)
