SAT Exam Dates 2022: SAT is a world-known standardized test taken by students for admission in undergraduate schools located abroad like Australia, Canada, the USA, and the UK. This exam aims at evaluating applicants on their written, verbal, and mathematical skills. In addition to the generic SAT Exam, if attaining admission in a specific course, they can still take SAT Subject Test to show their understanding in the specific area. Subject appear in the test includes Mathematics, History, Sciences, Literature, and Foreign Languages. Students can appear in more than one subject examination according to the requirements mentioned by the university.

Eligibility Criteria:

Those who are willing to appear in SAT examination should check the eligibility criteria given below:

  • Education: Students who are in High School and want to apply for undergraduate studies abroad may apply.
  • ID Proof: The candidate should have a relevant passport or Aadhar card. It must contain a photograph, name, and signature on it.
  • Age Limit: There is no maximum or minimum age limit to apply for SAT exam. However, 17-19 age groups are amongst the most applied for SAT in the last few years.
  • Attempts: Candidates can take SAT examination ‘N’ times. SAT commenced five times a year in March, May, August, October, and December.

SAT 2022 Registration:

To appear for SAT, register online, through mail or by phone. Registration is open throughout the year. Interested students need to book for the test prior. It is important to consider the deadlines.

Online Registration:

  1. If you have applied for online registration, create a profile on College’s board website.
  2. After creating the profile, fill the application form with Personal details, High School details, and Contact Information such as mobile number, email address
  3. After this, create a Student Profile
  4. Choose the Test and Test Center
  5. Next, upload the latest passport size photograph
  6. Make sure to use a credit card or PayPal for paying the amount. Take a print of the admission ticket for further reference

Registration via Mail:

Candidates can register via mail by:

  • Requesting the testing nearby home
  • Requesting Sunday testing for the first time
  • Submitting by cheque or money order
  • Less than 13 years of age
  • Unable to upload a photograph
  • Registering via SAT international representative

To register by mail:

  • Make a request for SAT Student Registration Booklet from the counselor or College Board
  • Fill in the details in the application form
  • Mail the application form along with the cheque or money order of the application fee using the registration envelope to

SAT Exam Fee:

Following is the SAT Exam fee information:

  • SAT – $52
  • SAT with Essay – $68
  • Late registration – $30
  • Change in Registration – $30
  • Registration Fee – $26

Each SAT Subject Test (apart from Language Tests with Listening) – an additional $22 per test. Whereas Language Tests with Listening (Only in November) –  an additional $26 per test

Mode of Payment: Several ways are acceptable to submit the exam fee, check them below:

  • PayPal: New PayPal users are required to create an account before beginning registration. Ghana doesn’t accept PayPal method.
  • Credit Cards: American Express, Discover, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, and JCB.
  • Check or Money Order: All the money orders and checks are to be delivered to ‘The College Board’ address. Only cheques drawn on U.S. banks are accepted.
  • Other methods: Bank draft

Exam Pattern:

  • SAT Exam will be conducted in offline mode.
  • The candidate will get 3 hours to complete the test whereas 3 hours 50 minutes for SAT Exam with essay.
  • SAT consisted of Reading test, Writing and Language test, Mathematics test without a calculator, and Mathematics test with a calculator
  • The essay part is optional and its result is evaluated separately. Only a few colleges required it.
  • The score scale ranges between 400-1600

SAT 2022 Scores:

Each section of the SAT examination scored a 200 on 800. The total SAT scores comprise each section’s scores. The highest score 1600. If the candidate takes an essay test then a separate score will be given. The SAT essay will be marked on factors such as Reading, Analysis, and Writing out of 2 to 8. The raw SAT score will be converted into a scaled score based on the specific rules. The average SAT score is 1000. Each question carries one mark and there will be no negative marking.

The SAT exam information for international students. The SAT cutoff is found under the ‘Standardized Testing Score’. From the list of colleges, find the highest SAT score and that scores will be targeted and candidates look forward to achieving it.
