SAT Exam Dates 2023: Scholastic Assessment Test or SAT is an entrance exam is conducted by the College Board. This test is taking place for admission in Undergraduate courses in the US and Canada. SAT is a hard examination. The test is of two types one is SAT Test and another one is SAT Subject test. The College Board organized this test 7 times annually depending upon the region and is held at least 5 times a year in most countries. Kindly go through the official notification for updates.
The Registration for SAT examination candidates will have to go through the College Board website. SAT registration dates and exam dates are available throughout the month of August, October, December, and March.
For SAT examination there are no such eligibility criteria is given by The College Board. But else candidates have to check all the details of eligibility for the SAT Test.

The examination pattern for SAT test consists of two major sections Evidence-based Reading and writing (EBRW) and Math and an optional essay. The examination will take place offline. The total number of questions that will be asked is 154. The score range is between 400- 1600. The total time duration is provided 3 hours 50 minutes for SAT with Essay.

Applicants are suggested to prepare according to the SAT exam applied for and subject topics. The SAT test is of two types’ General test and Subject Test. The syllabus for the examination is based on the high school curriculum. The general test is consisting of math and evidence reading and writing and an optional essay writing section. The subject test is comprised of Math, Science, Language, History, and English.
SAT Reading: It has 5 passages from different backgrounds. Scientific related two topics. Other topics are related to the SAT India are economics, psychology, sociology, etc. One topic is related to US classic or contemporary texts or world literature.
SAT Writing and Language: In this section, they judge candidates reading and writing skills. Questions will be based on sentence structure, verb tense, punctuation, subject-verb agreement, grammar, usages, strengthening/ weakening the argument, etc. Topics include under this is Humanities, Careers, History and arts, science and social science.
SAT Math: Quadratics equations, Percentages, Ratio, Binomial Theorem, Trigonometry, Complex numbers, The fundamental principle of counting, Algebra, Sets, Relations and Functions, Probability, Arithmetic’s, Coordinate Geometry, Harmonic Progressions, Vectors and Scalars, Integral as an anti-derivative, Differential Calculus, etc.
SAT Subject Science: Motion, Gravitation, Units of Measurement, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Coulomb’s law, Simple harmonic motion, Ray and Wave Optics, Magnetism, Capacitor in parallel, Semiconductors, Atomic Physics, Dual Nature of Matter, Relativity Atomic structure, Nuclear Physics, Matter-wave, Atomic Structure, Classification of matter into solid, liquid and gaseous states, Dalton’s Atomic theory, Matter and its Nature, Chemical bonding, Molecular Structure, Covalent Bonding, Periodic properties Modern periodic law, S& P block elements, Chemical Energetic, Equilibrium, Bimolecular hydrocarbons, Hydrocarbons classification, Solutions and its different methods. SAT Subject Languages: It includes languages like Spanish, German, Korean, Hebrew, Japanese, French, Chinese, and Italian, etc.
SAT Subject History: It includes US political history, economic history; social history, etc. world History includes global and comparative, European history or Africa History, etc.
SAT Subject Test English: This part covers the topics which are related to English literature, American literature, etc.

Applicant can check their SAT result from the College Board website. You can check your score after the 3 weeks of taking the examination. The SAT score is evaluated on basis of a total score out of 2400. The subject-wise score ranges from 200- 800. 200 is the minimum score and 800 is the maximum score. To get admission to top colleges and universities, candidates must have secured a minimum score to get admission to the colleges. The top scorer will get the chance to select the top universities.
