Saurashtra University Admission 2023: More than 2000 students study Arts, Commerce, Law, Management, and Science at Saurashtra University, which provides UG, PG, and doctoral programmes. Admission to Saurashtra University’s undergraduate and graduate programmes is based on merit or the outcomes of an entrance exam.
The eligibility criteria for admission to different programmes are set by the university. The candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria as required by the university for admission to courses. Saurashtra University UG Eligibility Criteria
- For admission to the B.Com/B.Com (H) program, the candidate must have passed 10+2 in Commerce stream with a minimum percentage of marks required by the university.
- For admission to the BCA program, the candidate must have passed 10+2 in the Science stream with the minimum percentage of marks required by the university.
- For admission to the B.Sc program in different specializations, the candidate must have passed 10+2 in the Science stream with the minimum percentage of marks required by the university.
- For admission to the BBA programmeme, the candidate must have passed 10+2 in Commerce stream with a minimum percentage of marks required by the university
- For admission to the BA programmeme in different specializations, the candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream with a minimum percentage of marks required by the university.

- Saurashtra University offers admission to UG courses based on the merit list. The merit list is prepared by the university based on the marks obtained by students in the last qualifying examination i.e 10+2.

Saurashtra University PG Eligibility Criteria
- For admission to the MD/MS program, the candidate must have completed MBBS from a recognized university or institution.
- For admission to the MBA program, the candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline with a minimum percentage of marks required by the university.
- For admission to the MA program in any specialization, the candidate must have a BA degree in relevant discipline with a minimum percentage of marks required by the university.
- For admission to the M.Sc program in any specialization, the candidate must have B.Sc degree in relevant discipline with minimum percentage of marks required by the university.
- For admission to the M.Com program, the candidate must have passed B.Com with the minimum percentage of marks required by the university.
- For admission to the MCA program, the candidate must have passed BCA with the minimum percentage of marks required by the university.
Saurashtra University PG Selection Process
- For admission to the MD/MS program, the candidate must have a valid NEET PG score. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the counseling round.
- For admission to the MBA program, the candidate must have a valid MAT/CMAT score. Candidates will be called for the PI round based on their percentile.
- The university releases the merit list based on the marks obtained by students in their bachelors for admission to the MA & M.Com program.
- For admission to the M.Sc & MCA program, the university conducts the entrance exam. The university releases the merit list based on scores obtained by students in the entrance exam.

Saurashtra University Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria
- A master’s degree in the relevant specialization from a recognized university is required.
- To be considered for admission, the candidate must have a minimum of 55 percent in their Master’s degree.
Saurashtra University Ph.D. Selection Process
- The university conducts the entrance exam for admission to the Ph.D. program. Candidates having a valid UGC-JRF score need not take the entrance exam. Based on the merit list, candidates will be called for the interview round.
- Students who have valid admission exam results are invited to participate in counseling/interview rounds.
