SBI Clerk Exam Pattern (Prelims & Mains) & Syllabus

SBI Clerk Syllabus & Exam Pattern: SBI Clerk exam is conducted by SBI (State Bank of India) for the post of Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) in one of the many branches of State Bank of India across the country. SBI Clerk is one of the most demanding after bank exams today and a huge number of candidates appear for the same every year. In this article let’s understand in detail the SBI Clerk latest exam pattern and Syllabus.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern:

The SBI Clerk Exam Pattern will be consist of two phases i.e, Prelims and Mains.

Prelims Exam Pattern:

  • SBI Clerk Prelims Exam will be conducted through Online mode.
  • This Exam will be consist of 3 Sections i.e, English Language, Numerical Ability & Reasoning.
  • There will be 100 questions of 100 marks will be asked in the Exam.
  • Candidates need to complete the exam in 1 hour.
  • There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests and 1/4th of the mark assigned for a question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Distribution of questions and marks given below:

Mains Exam Pattern:

  • In Mains Exam there will be 4 sections i.e, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and Computer Aptitude & General/Financial Awareness.
  • There is 190 Question having a total score of 200 marks.
  • The Exam duration will be 2 hours & 40 minutes.
  • The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual i.e., English & Hindi.
  • There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests and 1/4th of the mark assigned for a question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
