Diploma in Elementary Teacher Education (D.El.Ed) is a state-level undergraduate exam conducted by the SCERT, Nagaland. It is a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education course. The State Council of Educational Research and Training, Nagaland (SCERT) is the academic extension of the Department of School Education. Its key purpose is to generate qualitative changes in education in schools on the whole and in teachers’ education particularly. The application form is filled online with the mode of examination being offline. Candidates are given a maximum of 3 hours to complete the exam.
The interested candidates have to fill out the application form online through the official website https://scert.nagaland.gov.in/. The SCERT Nagaland D.El.Ed Application Form will be available online and offline mode. The application form SCERT Nagaland DELED is mostly released in the first week of September and the results are declared in the fourth week of November. Applicants should have read the complete instructions about the application form before filling it. All the details filled in the application form should be correct and complete. Before submitting the application form, applicants have to confirm all the details.

Educational qualification:
Apart from being Indian citizen, applicants should be qualified in the intermediate examination from a recognized board. Applicants must be qualified with 50% in the intermediate examination whereas a relaxation of 5% marks is given to SC/ST category candidates, they have to score 45% aggregate marks in the intermediate.
Age limit: The age of the candidates should be between 17 to 35 years for getting admission in this course.
The question paper comprises of total 230 questions in the form of MCQs(objective type questions)with maximum marks being 600. Candidates score 3 marks for every correct answer and there is no negative marking for wrong answers. There are collectively four sections in the question paper and the candidates get 3hours to complete the exam.
