To apply for the examination, the candidate needs to apply via offline and online mode. If you are applying online then go to the official website and fetch the application form. Download the form and fill the personal as well as educational details. Before submission, go through the details carefully and then get done with the final submission. You can go to the official website and download the application form and after filling send it to the university with the application fee Demand Draft. Along with the application form, submit the application fee too.
Application fee: You can submit the application fee via various modes like a debit card/ net banking/credit card or offline via demand draft. Those who are submitting a hard copy of the application form they need to submit fee via offline mode. and those who are submitting online will pay Rs 1100/- (whether it is submitted online or offline) The cost of the offline application form will cost you Rs 1160/-Write the name and address on the backside of DD and send on the address given below:

This examination is a completely online exam for which candidates will get 150 minutes to solve the complete paper. The language of the paper will be only English and questions are objective type. There will be 100 questions overall in the paper and for every correct answer candidate will receive 3 marks. The best thing is that there will be no negative marking at all.
The syllabus for the examination will be based on several topics that the candidate has attended in B.Tech. In the entire test, questions will be asked from Mathematics and from the syllabus of Undergraduate level. There will be no questions from the Bio-Technology and Food Processing programme. The syllabus for the exam is based on the disciplined or branch from which the candidate will do the M.Tech. The topics included for various branches are mentioned below:
Civil (Code 01):
Concrete and Steel Structure, Soil Mechanics and Geo-Technical Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanics of Solids and Structural Analysis, Fluid Mechanics and Water Resources, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Transportation Engineering etc.
Mechanical (Code 02):
Mechanics and Machine Design, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Mathematics, Material Science and Metallurgy, Thermodynamics, Casting, Strength of Materials, Automotive Transmission, metal forming and metal joining processes, Engineering Materials, Processing of Plastics and Computer Aided Manufacturing etc.
Electrical (Code 03):
Digital, Microprocessor, Control System, Mathematics, Networks, Electronic Circuits, Electromagnetic, Electrical Machines, Power Electronics and Solid State Drives & Control and Power System etc.
Electronics (Code 04):
Digital, Microprocessor, Control System, Mathematics, Networks, Devices, Electronic Circuits, Signals and Systems, Communications (analog), Communications (Digitals), Electromagnetic.
Computer Science (Code 06):
Micro Processor and Hardware Systems, Mathematics, Discrete Mathematical Structures, Computer Organization and Architecture, Programming Methodology & Software Engineering etc

After submitting the application form, book the slot applicable for the entrance test. Once you book the slot, download the admit card from the official website. After seeking the admit card, take print out for carrying it along with you at the exam venue. No candidate will be permitted to apply for the examination without admit card.
The examination result will be announced via the official website. To catch the results, use login ID and password on the dashboard. According to the marks attained by the candidate, the merit list will be prepared.
After results are declared, candidates will be called for counseling which is based on the merit list. The candidate will be given the chance to choose the specialization and campus during the time of counselling. Carry all the documents for verification during the time of counseling. After selection gets over, the university will release the PAL or Provisional Allotment Letter for selected candidates.
