SSC IMD Scientific Assistant 2023 Application Form:

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate’s age should be within 30 years. The age of the applicant mentioned in the class X Certificate/Admit Card will be acceptable. There will be age relaxation for different categories:

Educational Qualification:

• The applicant must be possessed a degree of graduation in Science with Physics as one of the key subjects/Computer Science/IT/Computer Applications or a Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from some recognized institute.
• The qualifying marks should be more than first class. The Diploma comprises of full-time 3 years course after completing class XII. Candidates must have cleared XII from some recognized institute with subjects such as Physics and Mathematics.

Nationality:

• The candidates must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or a Tibetan refugees who came to India prior to 1962 with the intention to settle here permanently

Or,

• A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan/Burma/Sri Lanka/East African Countries of Kenya/Uganda/United Republic of Tanzania/Zambia. Zaire/Malawi/Ethiopia/Vietnam to settle in India permanently.

Selection Process:

The selection procedure is based on the candidate’s performance in the written test.

Examination Pattern:

Here is the examination pattern for SSC IMD Scientific Assistant 2023:

• The Commission will conduct a Computer Based Examination.
• The written exam will be for 120 minutes.
• The candidate will get 200 questions to solve both the papers – Paper I and Paper II.
• Each section in Part 1 consisted of 25 questions for 1 mark each
• In Part 2, there will be 100 questions for 100 marks
• For every incorrect answer, there will be a deduction of 0.25 marks
