Tamil Nadu B.Sc Nursing 2023: Tamil Nadu B.Sc. nursing examination is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu. This examination takes place at the state level once a year. They offer admission for the Tamil Nadu Government Medical Colleges which is affiliated with Dr. M.G.R Medical University Tamil Nadu. They offer approximately 2460 seats for both Undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Tamil Nadu B.Sc Nursing 2023 Application Form:

If you are first time applying for the examination then you will have to register them. Registration will be open from October onwards. Go to the official notification which is given on the official website and tap on the registration link and register with your name and contact details. Then you will get the applicant’s number and password. Now go to the official page tap the link to apply and you will get the application form. Steps to follow application form:

  • Fill the form with all personal details like Name, DOB, Parent’s details, contact number & email id.
  • Fill all details correctly to then submit it
  • Upload required documents in the required format
  • Upload passport size photograph and signature in the required manner
  • Review your details and submit it
  • Pay application fees through payment gateway
  • Take a printout of the application form for further references

Application Fee:

Form Fee can be paid online by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. It is recommended to pay the application fee before the last date of payment. Category wise application fee is as follows:

  • General/SC/ST/OBC/PWD Category candidates have to pay Rs. 400/-

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Only Indian candidates are eligible to apply for the admission
  • Education qualification is must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as the main subject from recognized Board
  • For SC/ST candidates must have passed 10+2 with 45% marks in PCB and English as main subjects from recognized Board
  • All Category Candidates must have under the minimum of 17 years of age and a maximum of 45 years of age at the time of admission
  • A domicile certificate must be needed at the time of documentation.

Admit Card:

Admit Card will be available on the official website. Candidates can download it online by using the applicant number and password. It is mandatory to carry admit card in the examination center without it you will be not allowed to give the examination. Admit card has the following details like Name of the candidates, roll number, examination timing, examination address and important instruction.

Result:

The result of the examination will be announced online on the official website. Candidates can check or download it by using the Roll number and date of birth as a password. Minimum 50% of total marks are required to qualify for the examination. Take a printout of the result for future references.

Merit List:

Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the score got in the examination. There is a total 33 institutions are participating in the admission process. The authority will scrutinize the application form on the basis of the examination marks and they prepare a merit list according to that.

Selection and Counseling:

After the result announcement counseling schedule will be announced on the official website. Qualified candidates can go to the official page register themselves to attend the counseling. There are 2-3 rounds of the counseling that will take place and according to the merit list, you will get the chance to choose to attend the counseling round. Also, you will get the chance to choose the seat allotment. After the completion of the counseling you will get an online seat allotment letter from the official website. You will have to report to the college at the given schedule by the official.

Seat Allotment

Seat allotment will be done on the basis of counselling process. As per the candidate’s choice, you will get the seats in the colleges. The choice of seats would be filled at the time of filling the admission form. Submit the admission fees to block your seats in the colleges.
