Thapar University 2023 Application Form:

• Subjects: Candidates should have passed with subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

B.Tech Biotechnology:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have qualified the intermediate or equivalent examination with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
• Subjects: Candidates should have passed with subjects like Physics, Mathematics and Biology subjects.

M.tech:

• Entrance Exam: Admission in ME & M.Tech programs will be provided on basis of the valid GATE score in the respective discipline.
• Qualifying Exam: Candidates must hold a B.Tech/BE or equivalent degree in the relevant field with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).

MCA:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree of minimum 3-year duration in any discipline from recognized University
• The candidate must have a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
• Subjects: Candidate must have passed with Mathematics as a compulsory subject in 10+2 or at graduation level.

Application Fee:

The application fees for various courses are:

• For BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/ME and Ph.D. courses –1500/-.
• For M.Sc/M.A/MBA programme –1000/-.

TIET B.Tech Admission 2023 Procedure:

The admission in Thapar University Admission is provided on basis of marks secured by the applying candidates in the entrance exam. In numerous courses, admission is provided on the basis of the national-level entrance tests. The selection of the candidates will be done after releasing of the merit list. After that candidates will also have to undergo Interview rounds.

Admit Card:

The entrance examination of the university will be conducted through offline mode. Admit cards of the candidates will be sent to their registered email id. Candidates then need to take a printout of the admit card and then bring it to the examination hall along with an original photograph id.
