TNUSRB SI Recruitment 2024: Every year, a state-level recruitment test is held by the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) to fill the position of sub-inspector. The exam is held to find qualified new applicants for the Tamil Nadu Police Department. Only applicants with residence in Tamil Nadu are eligible to take the TNUSRB SI Exam.

The steps to filling out the TNUSRB Application Form 2024 are as follows:
- Visit the TNUSRB’s official website.
- On the TNUSRB Official website, select the “TNUSRB SI Application Form” link. You will see a login page.
- Select the “Create New User” option if this is your first time using the site.

Eligibility Criteria:
For each type of student, there are different qualifying requirements for the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board’s Sub-Inspector Post Exam. The following section goes into depth about the TNUSRB SI eligibility requirements:
- The applicant must be an Indian national and solely a resident of the state of Tamil Nadu. The TNUSRB Exam cannot be taken by any candidate who is a resident of another state.
- The applicant must be a college grad of a recognized government college or university.
- For the TNUSRB SI Exam, candidates must have studied Tamil in Class X or XII.
- Candidates who have completed SSLC and ITI and obtained a degree through a remote learning programme, an open university, or a college in a 10+3+2 pattern are also eligible.
- Any applicant who completed their undergraduate studies in a 10+2+3 pattern at an open institution is not permitted to appear for the TNUSRB SI Exam in 2024.
- For the TNUSRB SI Exam 2024, participants must be at least 20 years old. Furthermore, candidates may not be older than 28 when taking this test.
- Candidates belonging to the backward category and SC/ST category have 2 years and 5 years of relaxation in the age criteria.
- Up to 45-year-old candidates from the police force who have served five years in the department may sit for this exam. Students who are participating through departmental quotas will benefit from this relaxation.
Exam Pattern:
The TNUSRB SI Written Exam is divided into Part A and Part B. Candidates under the Open Category and those under the Departmental Quota each have a separate TNUSRB Exam Pattern. The Exam pattern for both categories is detailed below.

Open Candidates:
For the applicants who are eligible for the open category, TNUSRB has given 70 total marks for Parts A and B of the TNUSRB SI examination. The exam will last for 2 hours and 30 minutes for the applicants.
- General Knowledge questions will make up Part A of the examination. Part A consists of 80 questions, worth 40 marks.
- The questions from a bigger syllabus will be included in Part B of the exam. Part B consists of 60 questions, worth 30 marks.
- In both papers, there are just objective questions.
- A negative evaluation is not permitted.
Departmental Candidates:
The TNUSRB has assigned the departmental quota candidates 85 marks (total of both Part A and Part B) for the examination. The allotted time for the applicants to finish both portions is three hours. To advance to this stage, applicants must earn at least 30 marks.
- General Knowledge questions will make up Part A of the examination. Part A consists of 30 questions, worth 15 marks.
- The questions from a wider syllabus will be included in Part B of the exam. Part B consists of 140 questions worth 70 marks.
- There won’t be any negative marking
