Tripura TET 2023 Application Form:
Those who are eligible and wanted to apply for the examination will fill the application form using the online mode. Go to the official website and apply for the examination. Those who wanted to apply for the post of the upper primary and lower primary level can apply for this test.
- First, visit the official website of the Teacher’s Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT).
- Then sign on the official webpage by submitting the required details.
- After using login details, fill the Application Form with correct and complete information of personal and academic details.
- Upload the scanned documents like passport-sized photographs and signatures in the prescribed format.
- Upload the documents and make the payment of the application fee via online mode using net banking or debit/credit card.
- Submit the Application Form and take it in the printed form for further use.
Tripura TET 2023 Application Fee:
- Unreserved Category will pay Rs. 300 as an application fee.
- Reserved Category (Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, or Other Backward Classes) will make payment of Rs. 200 for the application fee.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate should be a citizen of India.
- Candidate should reside in Tripura and must have the certificate of Permanent Resident of the Tripura.
- Minimum academic and professional qualifications will be followed by the NCTE notification.
- They must have cleared class XII 12 with at least 50% marks
- They must have done Graduation (for T TET 2023 Paper I and II).
- There will be relaxation to SC, ST, PH category candidates up to 5% in the qualifying marks.
- There will be no age limit for teaching aspirants for appearing in the Teacher Eligibility Test.

Eligibility Criteria for Paper 1:
- Candidate must have attained at least 50% marks in class XII and 2-year D.El.Ed (or 1-yr D.Ed up to 2005-06). OR
- Must have passed class XII with at least 45% marks and 2-year D.El.Ed as per NCTE (or 1-yr D.Ed up to 2005-06). OR
- Must have passed class XII with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed. OR
- Must have passed class XII with at least 50% marks and 2-year D.Ed. (Special Education). OR
- Must have cleared graduation with a 2-year D.El.Ed (or 1-yr D.Ed up to 2005-06). OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. OR NEW
- Must have successfully cleared class XII with 50% marks ( as per relaxed qualification as per MHRD notification dated Jan 2023). OR
- Graduation (as per relaxed qualification as per MHRD notification dated Jan 2023).
Eligibility Criteria for Paper 2:
- Candidate must have successfully completed Graduation and 2-year D.El.Ed (or 1-yr D.Ed up to 2005-06). OR
- Candidate must have successfully completed Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed. OR
- Candidate must have successfully completed Graduation with 45% marks and B.Ed. as per NCTE. OR
- Candidate must have successfully completed class XII with 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed. OR
- Candidate must have successfully completed Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education). OR
- Candidate must have successfully completed Class XII with 50% marks and 4-years BA/BSc Ed or BA Ed / BSc Ed.
Exam Pattern:
- The Mode of Examination will be in pen and paper mode.
- The paper will be in the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type.
- The total marks will be 150.
- The number of questions will be 150 for each paper
T-TET Paper-I (Class I-V, All Mandatory):
- Child Development and Pedagogy will have 30 questions for 30 marks
- Language I (English) will have 30 questions for 30 marks
- Language II (Bengali) will have 30 questions for 30 marks
- Mathematics will have 30 questions for 30 marks
- Environmental Studies will have 30 questions for 30 marks
T-TET Paper- II (Class VI-VIII):
- Child Development and Pedagogy (mandatory) will have 30 questions for 30 marks
- Language I (English) (mandatory) will have 30 questions for 30 marks
- Language II (Bengali) (mandatory) will have 30 questions for 30 marks
- For Mathematics and Science Teacher- Mathematics and Science will have 30 questions for 30 marks (b) For Social Studies Teachers- Social Studies will have 60 questions for 60 marks (c) For any other teacher- either will have 60 questions for 60 marks
