TS CPGET 2024: Telangana State Common Postgraduate Entrance Test, also known as TS CPGET is conducted by Osmania University for admission to different universities in the state of Telangana. The exam is conducted for providing admission to Postgraduate, Postgraduate Diplomas, and integrated programmes as well. Aspiring candidates seeking admission to postgraduate courses through TS CPGET are required to fill the application form. The application will be released by Osmania University with the release of official notification. TS CPGET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates seeking admission to their preferred postgraduate courses must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

1. Candidates must have passed bachelor in relevant specialization with the required minimum percentage of 40% marks in aggregate.
2. Candidates should be of Indian Nationality and resident of Telangana State.

Reservation Criteria:

As per the rules and regulations of the Government of India, the State Government of Telangana provides reservation to students belonging to SC/ST, OBC, PwD, and EWS categories. There is also a sports quota for students seeking admission through it.

• 85% of students admitted to different courses should be from the state of Telangana.
• 15% of students from other states are only liable for admission through TS CPGET 2024.
• Candidates belonging to SC and ST categories will have 15% and 6% reserved seats in the total number of seats.
• Candidates belonging to categories other than SC & ST will be divided into 5 groups and each will group will have reserved seats as per the rules and regulations of the State Government.

Exam Pattern:

Candidates appearing for the exam should be aware of the detailed exam pattern. Exam pattern for different programs varies as per the requirement. Below is the detailed exam pattern for all postgraduate programs.

M.Sc	The entrance exam paper for M.Sc Admission in different specializations consists of 100 questions divided into 3 sections. These 3 sections are – Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.
MA	The entrance exam paper for MA Admission consists of 100 questions divided into 4 sections. These 5 sections are – Mathematics, General Knowledge, English, Current Affairs, and General Economics
MA Applied Economics	The entrance exam paper for MA Admission consists of 100 questions divided into 4 sections. These 5 sections are – Mathematics, General Knowledge, English, Current Affairs, and General Economics. *Note: The level of subjects will be high as compared to MA.

Result:

After the successful conclusion of the exam, the result is declared on the official website of TS CPGET. Candidates who have appeared for the entrance examination can check their results using their roll number and date of birth. Following are steps to check result:

Counseling:

Selected candidates will be called for the counseling round. Once the counseling round will over, the final merit list is declared following which the document verification process and submission of the fees process will take place.
