TS EdCET 2023 Application Form:

TS EdCET 2023 application form will be issued via online mode on its official website. Candidates need to register themselves on the official website. They have to furnish all the necessary details in order to register online. The application form must be filled with correct and pertinent information. The application fee must be paid while submitting the application form. Candidates have to upload scanned copies of the latest photographs with signatures along with the application form. After submission applicants need to keep the registration number for further use.

TS EdCET Application Fee:

• The application fee for the general applicants will be Rs. 650/-
• The suggested fee for SC/ST candidates will be Rs. 450/-
• Applicants can pay the application fee via the online method through net banking or by using credit or debit or cards.
• Candidates can pay the application fee via Ts Online/ApOnline centers in the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.

Steps To Apply For TS EdCET 2023 Application Form:

• Visit the official website i.e, edcet.tsche.ac.in.
• On the home page, click on the Instruction Booklet Section.
• Then, download and read all the information mentioned in the Booklet.
• Click on the Apply Now Button.
• Fill in all the details on the Application Form.
• Upload the necessary scanned documents.
• Finally, submit the TS EdCET Application Form.
• Download and take a copy for further usage.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be citizens of Indian.
• Applicants must be graduates in order to apply for the entrance. Final year graduates can also apply for the entrance.
• Candidates must acquire 50% marks in the aggregate for their Graduation/Master’s Degree in any discipline.
• Candidates must score 55% in B.Tech/B.E with Science and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• For the reserved category candidates, 40% of Marks are desired in the last exam.
• There is no upper age limit for entrance. Candidates must be at least 19 years of age in order to apply for the course.

Exam Pattern:

• The Entrance will be based on online mode.
• There will be 150 Questions in the examination.
• Applicants can opt for anyone’s subjects viz. Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Biological Sciences, English, and Social Studies in order to seat for the entrance.
• The Question Paper will be based 0n English, Telugu, and Urdu except for the English subjects.
• There will be 3 parts to the examination. 1st part will deal with General English for 25 marks, 2nd part will concentrate on general knowledge and teaching aptitude for 25 marks, 3rd or the final part is further subdivided into five subjects with 100 marks on each subject. The subjects are Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Social Sciences, and English.

Syllabus:

• 1st Part: Direct Speech and Indirect Speech, Correction of Sentences, General English Reading Comprehension, Tenses, Articles, Prepositions, Voice Vocabulary Spelling, Antonyms, Synonyms, Transformation of Sentences- Simple, Compound and Complex.
• 2nd Part: Knowledge of Current Events, General Knowledge & Teaching Aptitude General Knowledge of the Environment and application to the society, India and neighboring countries, Everyday Observations, and Experiences in their Scientific outlook, questions related to Culture, History, Geography, Economics Ecology, Economics General Policy, Scientific Research, etc.
• Teaching aptitude is focussed on the ability to deal and communicate with Children, the ability in recognizing personal differences, analytical mode of thinking, general intelligence, etc
• PART C: candidates need to select any of the following subjects for the entrance. The subjects are Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry), Mathematics, Biological Sciences (Botany and Zoology), Civics, and Economics), and English [Special English in B.A.], Social Studies (Geography, History)

Admit Card:

The official website will display the admit cards.

• The admit cards will only be available via online methods.
• Candidates completing the application form successfully can only avail of their admit cards.
• Admit card is an imperative paper for the candidate as it enables him/her to seat for the examination and further helps in their recruitment procedure.
• Candidates must keep it properly till the recruitment process takes place.

Answer Key:

The Answer Key will be announced by Osmania University on their official website as per the scheduled date once the written examination is held.  By the 1st week of June, the answer key for TS EdCET 2023 will be declared.

Result & Cut Off:

The university will issue the result via online mode through the official website. To know the result the candidate has to log in with his/her registration number and date of birth. The university will issue the cut-off list concurrently with the results.

The qualifying marks or cut off are announced on the official site by the TS EdCET 2023 exam.  These cut-off marks do not remain the same every year. Certain factors are responsible for this like the number of candidates applying for the degree, number of successful candidates in that particular year, number of vacancies for the exam, level of question paper, etc.
