TS PECET 2023: TS PECET is a well-known physical education common entrance examination commenced by Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda. This examination is conducted on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). Those who are seeking admission in two years programmes of BPEd and DPEd in Telangana can appear for the exam. This examination is divided into two different parts – Physical Efficiency Test and Skill Test in Game. This entrance examination is for the candidates who are residents of Telangana state.

TS PECET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Here are the eligibility criteria details of TS PECET 2023:

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • Besides this, applicant must belong to Telangana state only.
  • Applicants need to satisfy the local/non-local status need to be laid down in the Telangana State Educational Institutions.
  • Applicants those who are in their third year may also apply for the common entrance examination for the BPEd course if appeared for a third-year or secured three years degree recognised by any university in Telangana or any other recognised university. Make sure to submit the pass certificate during the counseling session.
  • Applicant must have completed 19 years of age to appear in the test
  • Those who are in service Physical Education Teachers (PETs) do not need to appear for any entrance examination commenced by TSPECET Convener. They can apply directly to the Director of School Education, Hyderabad via DEOs as per their notification.

The exam pattern or exam syllabus of TS PECET 2023 is also required to be aware of. The examination syllabus consisted of physical strength for the offered courses such as BP.Ed and DP.Ed.

Physical Efficiency Tests will be for 400 marks: The marks will be awarded using the conversion tables approved by the TS PECET Committee.

For Male Candidates:

  • 100 meters run
  • Putting the shot (6 Kgs.)
  • 800 meters

Note: Each for 100 marks

For Female Candidates:

  • 100 meters run
  • Putting the shot (4 Kgs.)
  • 400 meters

Note: Each for 100 marks

Skill Test will be for 100 marks:

Admit Card:

Download the admit card from the official website of the TS PECET. Check the steps to download the hall ticket or admit card mentioned below:

  • Visit the official website of the examination page to download the TS PECET admit card.
  • On the official website, you will find the category ‘Application’. Click the link ‘Download Hall Ticket’.
  • The applicant will be directed to the new page and there enter the ‘Registration number’ and ‘Date of Birth’. Soon after this, click on the ‘Get Hall Ticket’ button.
  • Download the TS PECET admit card.
  • Check the details on the admit card such as Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Exam, Roll Number, Application Number, Exam Venue, Timing, Date, Photograph, Signature
  • It is recommended to keep a copy of the admit card for further reference.

Exam Result:

The result will be announced after few days of the exam. The qualifying marks will be 30% of the aggregate marks obtained in the actual tests – Physical Efficiency Tests (400 Marks) and Skill Test (100 Marks
