TS SET 2024: Osmania University conducts the TS SET 2024 examination for candidates seeking the position of Assistant Professors or Lecturers in the state universities or colleges of Telangana. The Telangana State Eligibility Test (TS SET) is a state-level teaching eligibility test used to determine Telangana students’ eligibility for Assistant Professor and Lecturer positions in Telangana institutions and colleges. Every year, Osmania University conducts an online test for General Studies (Paper 1) and 29 disciplines (to be chosen as Paper 2). Candidates must take both papers to pass the TS SET test. The certificates are given to TS SET-qualified applicants.

TS SET 2024  Application Form:

Eligible candidates must fill out the TS SET 2024 application form to take the exam. Candidates must follow the steps given below to apply for the exam:

• Visit the official website of TS SET
• Click on the Register link
• Use your email ID and password to register yourself
• Then login with the set email ID and password
• The application form will appear on the screen of the candidate
• Fill out the application form with the educational and personal details
• Upload scanned documents and a passport-size photograph
• Submit the application form
• Pay the application fee
• Candidates will receive the registration number upon registration which they have to save for future reference.

TS SET 2024  Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must meet the following fundamental TS SET eligibility criteria for 2024:

• Candidates must have at least 55% (without rounding off) in their post-graduate studies.
• Candidates who are awaiting the results of their master’s degree examinations in their final year are also eligible to apply.
• There is no maximum age limit for taking the TS SET test.

Exam Pattern:

Candidates preparing to appear for the exam must know the important details of the TS SET 2024 exam pattern. An idea of the exam pattern helps candidates complete their papers in the allotted time. The TS SET 2024 exam pattern is given below:

• The exam will be conducted in an online mode
• The duration of the exam is 180 minutes or 3 hrs
• There will be two papers – Paper I & Paper II
• The Paper I will be containing questions from English, Reasoning, Basic Mathematics, and General Knowledge
• Paper II will be a domain-specific paper. Candidates would have to choose 1 subject out of 29 electives.
• The language of the paper will be English & Telugu except for language papers like Hindi & Sanskrit, where the language of the paper would be Hindi & Sanskrit, respectively.
• Paper, I will carry 50 questions while Paper II will have 100 questions
• There is no negative marking in the exam.

Syllabus:

TS SET 2024 syllabus varies as per the subject chosen by candidates. However, questions in TS SET 2024 exam are of PG level. Hence, candidates must revise what they have studied during postgraduation. Candidates can also refer to books written by private authors to enhance their preparation.

Admit Card:

TS SET 2024 admit cards are released a few days before the exam. Registered candidates will be able to download their admit cards using their application number, date of birth, and other credentials. Candidates can check the steps below to download the TS SET admit card:

• The admit card will appear on the screen
• Download and save the admit card for future reference

Result:

TS SET 2024 result is released after the conclusion of the exam. Candidates who appeared for the examination will be able to check their results using their roll number and date of birth. The conducting authority will release the TS SET cutoff for each category. Candidates must clear the minimum cutoff to become eligible to apply for the position of Assistant Professor in different universities and colleges in Telangana.
